Hi all,
We have been DVC members for almost 10 years now but have never needed to rent out our points. We plan on a Disney cruise next June but need to make a regular cash reservation, and will not be able to use our points in the meantime. The points are available starting August 1, 2011 through July 31, 2012 and we are looking for $9.50 per point. thanks!

I will keep you in the list here . . . I am trying to work out something for our remaining points with a couple folks ahead of you in the list, but if they do not work out, I will get back to you, I will also edit and close the post when the points are gone. October has been difficult to book, several folks have given me dates to try, so far no luck, but I appreciate that you can offer a reference, particularly since this is our first time having to get rid of points.

Looking to stay as close to 10 days (7, 8, or 9 may work too) in Oct preferably at a 1 bedroom at the BCV. However, if unavailable would take a 1 bedroom at BWV. Anytime between Oct 17-Oct 28. I'm sorry I won't be able to help you - we were able to transfer about half of our available points to a Forum user close to home, we met this morning to take care of it . . . I won't have enough points to do a Grand Villa, but there are definitely plenty of posts for available points, so hopefully you will find something that works out for you. Good luck,

I still have 231 points - might be enough for a one bedroom although I didn't confirm. . . . I could probably borrow a few from the next year if that made a difference. I will let you know.

Did I tell you Sept. 27-Oct. 3rd? for a 1 bdrm. at bcv? If so, then could you also check AKV and BWV for a 1 bdrm. for the same time? I think around the same amount of points?

I doubt I will be able to help . . . I am trying to be fair and go in order recd . . . I am waiting to hear back from someone and then go down the list. I didn't check the points calc but we just finalized 250 points, giving me only 231 left to find a home. I am guessing the 2 BR is more than that . . . although I wouldn't be totally opposed to borrowing a few if that makes the difference to work out a reliable reservation. I will get back to you as I hear back from the other folks. thanks

I am not sure if you have any points left to rent, but my family is very close to booking a 7 night stay at Bay Lake Towers from January 28-Feb 4 and would be very interested in renting with you. I believe there is availability, as the 7 month period just opened up. We would be looking for a 2 bedroom lake view. We are a responsible group and could provide references if you would like.

I am interested in renting your points if they are still available. I can pay $10 a point. We are interested in AKV or BCV if your point can be used anywhere 168 and 154 points respectively.
