Okay, I am getting all pin-envy and code-envy from reading about all of you receiving discount offers from Disney. Please put my envious mind to rest and let me know what the discount really contain.

When you say 40% off, is that for value or for deluxe too? We're going 9/29/2007 for 8 nights this year and staying at WL, so will we see that much of a saving if we somehow magically get this pin/code sometime in the near future? This is during value season and we used AAA discount.

Is the discount for just room-only or does it cover the whole package, including dining and tickets?

I am just curious if I should continue to sacrifice little Warner Brother animals to the Disney shrine in order to get a pin code or if I should just be rest assured that even if I do get a pin code, given our reservation (8 nights package + dining @ Wilderness Lodge using AAA discount), it will not amount to that much more savings.

Thanks in advance! :)

for 14 pms at the ASM 775 including taxes

What?!?! Am I reading this right?! 14 nights at ASM for $775 w/ taxes. wow. Think I need to start building that shrine as well....

Signed,
Green with envy II :thumbsup2
(but happy for you all that got the code....really....honest I am)

Hi.

From what I can tell it's 40% off room only, but for any type as long as it's available. We were able to get 7 night at the Polynesian garden view Sept 4-11 for $1555 ($222.08 a night/regular rate was $370.13). We saved $1036 by using the pin code.

Oh gosh - this might sound crazy but I think I just may cancel our upcoming trip in May and hope (and pray) that it would trigger something in the system so that I could get this pin code. That is just too good of a deal to pass over.

I have been hedging a little about the price of it so I am seriously considering this. It seems that Disney is fishing for people to come right now and I just don't know if I want to give them my money without getting a really good discount. I was able to get the free upgrades (water park & hopping) but I really (at first) told myself to NOT book it if it only had those items. I want to get non-expiring base tickets (not really the other stuff is needed for us) or an additional percentage off the room if that was all that was offered.

I may be Disney crazy but just might try this so I can get a code; or at least the possibility of having the chance to get a code.

We used to get the postcards when we hadn't visited Disney in awhile. It was like they try to get you to return to the resort. It makes such a difference when you have no discount offer to use. There is no way we could affort to pay full price, so we'll just wait for a discount code or go to the beach for vacation. I punched in the same items we bought 3 years ago in a discounted packaged for 7 nights at BWI with park hopper plus tickets for 5 and the price now is over $5000 compared to $2000. That's quite a increase for the same trip!

When did everyone get these postcards? Can you still get the DDP and park tix added with that discounted rate?
