They said they take no wait list people and to just call back regularly. Will I get in? The whole vaca was based on on-site FOTL passes. I'm looking at March of 2008, I thought I was out far enough, worng answer.

Who did you speak to that told you it was all sold out and won't wait list anybody? Whoever told you that was mistaken.

All the rooms for March 2008 are not even in the system yet. August is the first time they are being released for official booking and not even all are available yet. The rest of 2008 won't even be available to book until September.

I have a tentative reservation for end-March 2008, being traced by the rooms mgr of the Portofino. I have yet to hear that it is confirmed because all the rooms are not available yet.

Call Universal directly and get somebody who knows what they are talking about. And don't panic. You should be in plenty of time.

I did call universal direct, twice in fact. I am trying not to panic. What now?

I agree with Goofy. All 3 resorts are not possibly booked this far out for all of March 2008. I'm not sure when Easter is next year but even that is probably not already booked.

I would do 2 things

1. call Loews reservation system directly

2. call U/O and ask to speak to a supervisor and ask if it is all rooms or simply all rooms they have released that are booked.

Hang in there. I am sure a room will open up.

I agree with the other posters. The rooms for March 2008 are just not available for booking yet. They are not sold out. Don't panic. Loews just isn't as obsessive compulsive as some of us over-planners here. ;)

I was also told the same thing on several occasions just a few weeks ago for our reservations at the beginning of January. Then I finally called and reached someone who knew more. Unfortunately they said they could only upgrade us for the first 3 nights because everything had not been set up in the computer for our last 2 nights. I called back last night and now they tell me all the suites are sold out and have been for some time. Very disappointing.

Moral of the story, is just keep trying. Hopefully you will across a knowledgeable person.

It's possible that some important group somewhere put a hold on the suites & Loews let them before the dates were even available. We really wanted a suite at the RPR in December, but even though we made the ressies months ago, the suites were all sold out the first weekend of December. It happens. I just keep checking every so often to see if one has opened up. Did you try the other hotels, or are all 3 sold out of suites? I was able to book at HRH and was offered a suite at PBH as well for our dates.

Easter is the end of March next year.

Yep, and we're looking to stay at a Universal Resort for one night the week before Easter. What do you mean by your comment? What am I missing? :confused3

I'm not being sarcastic, and I'm guessing it's in response to another post, but I'm not following. I'm expecting it to be pretty busy that week and think the FOTL passes for 2 days we'd get by staying at the resort will be very helpful. Do you agree? Thanks! :goodvibes

The OP mentioned going in March '08 and then yourgoingagain? inquired when Easter was next year....IF the OP is going in March (and I knew and informed threaders when Easter was next year), then the holiday affects the crowds and therefore the hotels.... For instance, if the OP is going the week before Easter or around Easter, the hotels may not give many discounts and it will be busy at the parks and people will need the Express Pass ..... sorry if I was confusing

Absolutely I agree 100%...it will be priceless! :thumbsup2
