If I remember the plans correctly, the waterway will be back once the construction is done. I think the dining area down by the waterway will be gone though.

OH Carol... so sorry about your unmagical trip! We leave tomorrow so I'm sorta glad for the warning!!! I would have had a heart attack! We have a ressie for the Plaza this trip as well.. whoopee..

Your pictures show the mess... I wonder why they don't have walls up like they usually do around construction??? What about the noise of heavy earth moving trucks and stuff!!?? Someone forgot their thinking cap on this one, didn't they.

Yes, it was amazing at Aulani, a complete different vacation. When we checked out I said to them "Don't ever build a park here" , best vacation ever.
