These two rhinos delayed 4 safari vehicles for more than 15 minutes while they had a "snack" in the middle of the road!

Thanks...pretty eventful year...our 45th AND DH RETIRES in 14 days! Then DGD's fall school activities (oldest one starts high school ) and before we know it we'll be off to DW to celebrate our year ALONE ... first time since 1978! Yes it's been crazy hot...heat index today was 112. There's a low pressure moving in tomorrow that we're praying will bring us some relief with rain and temperatures in the low 90's. You know it's been hot when the prospect of "cooler temperatures" means 90+ degrees. Gotta love summer in Texas!

You might need that jacket with temps in the 80's ...that will seem cool! Our much hoped for rain is stuck in Louisiana along with the "cooler low 90's temps". We're all "sucking in air" to the east in hopes of bringing it over into Texas. This is miserable! Have fun in WA.
