Wow, I finally caught up with this thread. I have been so busy lately, I have yet to catch up with the story. We are moving into a new house and now I have soap net so that helps. Plus I can finally see Knots Landing again! Anyway, the show has gotten wild lately. I missed all of last week due to the move and having no satellite or cable. I know many of you are tired of Greenlee, but I will miss her. I really like Rebecca Buddig and how she portrayed Greenlee, well until lately anyway. She will be missed on the show.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but I HATE what they are doing with Janet. She left Pine Valley in better mental health and a very likeable character and now they are turning her into a fruitcake again. Blech. And what about her appearance. Janet looks like, well one of the Natalie's now. Janet had the experimental plastic surgury in prison and came out looking like Robin Matteson. Guess they decided to forget that tidbit. Now we know the original Trevor will not come back since the actor that played him couldn't stand this actress who played Natalie/Janet. That is why she left originally.

Anyway, the show has gotten a little better lately, but I will miss Greenlee. I just hope they don't mess it up again with a stupid Jamie's or Adam JR's paternity storyline. Blech.

I so agree with all of you who were saying that you like Rebecca Budig and think that she's a great actress, but hate what they did with Greenlee's character. I can't believe that they didn't give her more of a "send off" - seeing her crying in the car was "it"???? Then again, Greenlee's behavior before she left was so despicable, who needed to see more of it, and her whiny "you broke me! I'm broken, now!" soliloquys????

And although Janet is fun to watch (some much-needed comic relief!), I agree that after having her leave "as" Robin Mattson, a respected citizen of PV, they shouldn't have had her come back as "crazy, unbalanced Janet", Sarge! I like Kate Collins, but I sure do miss Robin Mattson - she did such a great job with the role. She was able to play the "over-the-top" stuff, but she also did a great job of showing us Janet's vulnerability, passion, jealousy, and genuine motivation for her actions because of her love and devotion to Amanda and Trevor.

Uh oh...........were there more signs of them possibly pairing off Julia and Ryan, yesterday????? UGH. And Aidan and Erin, the day before???? Double UGH.

The one "possible pair" that I DO like (even though it's completely implausible, based on their history) is Babe and JR! And I hope that Kendall breaks down and sees that Zach is "for real"! It was ABOUT TIME that he proclaimed his love for her out loud, TO her, yesterday!

As always, I just hope that they're not starting to break up Erica and Jack...........but it looks like that's where they are headed...........maybe Bianca's coming back in a few weeks will make everything "right" with everyone!

I wish Rebecca all the best, she is a good actress - maybe she can land a job on Las Vegas - that would be cool.

When I met Walt Willey at SSW I asked him where Jack and Erica are supposed to be living on the show- his repsonse 'Wherever I can get her to take her clothes off!'

I agree that whole thing is strange. They haven't even really talked about building a new home so they ALL can live together or anything.

Will do! I am doing the dinner package for Candlelight Processional with him and another DIS'er. I have never seen the show from inside the theatre so I am looking forward to it! I am going to go to MK in the morning and make my rounds around the park and then head over to Epcot. woohoo. Gonna watch the Illuminations with the holiday ending......hopefully I wont freeze my butt off like we did.

Well I caught up last night.....2 days of shows and the emotional roller coaster of them all........wow!! I have not watched today's yet but will probably do that later or on Sunday.

well....somehow I missed Monday's...so I will catch it this weekend on the weekly catchup....gosh don't you just love that???? ...I told my hubby that SoapNet is my ESPN!!!

I SOOOOO do not want a Julia/Ryan pairing....I know they are throwing it against the wall to see ifin it will stick....but hopefully they can come up with something else for Julia to do. I mean the actress has some good actin chops on her...find her something meaty to do.

I also agree about the Jack/Erica pairing...for the love of Julia Childs, please let them be together for at least a week without a crisis or breakup...I swear these two are starting to get boring. I know they say they keep the tension/breakup stuff to keep them from being boring, but I think they have messed with them so much, THAT is making them boring.

I mind the Aidan/whatername pairing a little less...pretty much know that is where it is headed...might as well get used to it.

Am I the only person who thinks Janet is behind all the shinannigans, and Amanda probably knows it???

Would not mind a JR/Babe reunion I don't think. I could see why soaps would want to keep real life couples apart when they have had to deal with so much drama in the past with real life couples....I can't think of one of my soaps that has not had some real life couple marriages/breakups on it can you???

So want Kendall/Zach...but they will torture us and drag it out for the rest of the year and probably into next February Sweeps....cuz they can.

When I watched Di go for that job, it made me think: How are the Lavery's supporting themselves? They have to pay something to the Pine Cone....yet Erin is out jogging like a Lady of Leisure and Ryan is off doing his "I may have hurt Greenlee, but Kendall hurt her more" routine. Talk about a hypocrit!

It'll be good to see Bianca back. I wonder if Miranda will be 20. She'll probably swoop in and get Kendall and Zach together and Jack and Erica together and perform a variety of other good deeds. I love Eden Riegel, but sometimes Bianca got to be a bit much.

I know what you mean, about Bianca, Carla, but it will be great to see her back - I was so happy when Myrtle called her to save the day, yesterday! And I love Myrtle's little conversations with Zach - they are so cute! I was so happy when she commanded him to go and fight for Kendall!

Maybe only Adam, Babe, and Krystal DID eat the soup! Di had left in shame, by the time that they sat down to dinner, and Tad had followed her, JR was outside brooding, and I suppose that Palmer was too busy gloating over the Chandlers' ruined holiday to eat anything!

Good question about how the Laverys are supporting themselves! Ryan hasn't worked at all in like a year - I don't even think that he was working BEFORE he left, much less now! I guess that he has some leftover savings from his Incredible Dreams.com days!

Speaking of working, does Danielle go to school any more? How is it that a high school student constantly has enough time off from school to be able to hold down a (presumably) full-time job, during weekday business hours??

I agree with you, too, Lynne - they really need to give Julia something to do, other than skulk around, trying to figure out her life. And isn't it weird how all Anita has done, since she's been back, is work in the hospital? We never see her at home at Wildwind (which has been taken over by the Henrys, anyway), and she hasn't seen Aidan once, since she's been back!

Del trying to seduce Babe is just stupid - you know that she will shoot him down, immediately. JR is just grasping at straws, trying to convince himself that he doesn't care for Babe.

OK, now Janet's "crazy" antics are getting to be a bit silly............she already knows that Amanda and Jamie have called off their "engagement"........so why is she making her a veil? I don't think that Amanda knows what Janet has been doing, around town........or that she actually never left PV at all......! It's just inconsistent because I don't think that Janet realizes how her actions (assuming that she's the one who pushed Babe down the stairs and poisoned the Chandlers' soup) are affecting Amanda - everyone in town thinks that SHE is doing those things. If Janet's motivation by doing these things is to help / avenge Amanda, it's sort of backfiring, because before we know it, they'll be shipping Amanda off to Oak Haven, and I'm sure that that's the last thing that Janet would want!

It's so weird how they showed Erica going back to her old penthouse, yesterday, Shugardrawers and Mona - we haven't seen that set in awhile - I guess that they purposely never got rid of it so that Erica would have a place to live if (when) she and Jack eventually separated. However, that penthouse is supposed to be on top of the Enchantment building.........and she hasn't run Enchantment in awhile (we never hear about Enchantment AT ALL, any more - I guess that it was completely absorbed into Fusion!).........maybe we're to believe that her new office is also in that building and that WRCW broadcasts from that building, as well?

I also want to slap some sense into Kendall, LuvWinnie!

SW Rider: Danielle apparently goes to the same school system as all the kids on General Hospital go too....the non-exsistent, rarely seen one!!!

I know the way they wrote out Greenlee was lame-o, but on the other hand, I am not sure that they could have written her out in anyway that would make sense. I am not saying they did the best they could...but there really was no good way for her to just up and leave...

I also am less than thrilled with Erica/Jack....they better knock it off before they make us hate them both!!!! For the love of apple cider, stop making them both dumb and lame-o.
