Who plays Lysistrata? Her voice sounds so familar but I can't place it. Sometimes I think it is the Pediatric Surgeon from one of the first seasons on ER who had "thing" with Dr. Carter.
This is driving me nuts.

I've been lurking on the AMC board for awhile-love everyones comments. I've watched the show on and off since 1972 but when I stopped working a few years ago I started watching all of the time again. Now I'm working again so Thank God for SoapNet!

Are we supposed to believe that Jack & Erica have no self control?!? They're acting like a couple of teenagers. (Just like Jake.) Do people really act like this in real life? (OK - I know soaps are not real-life - but puh-leeze!) Jackson's daughter is in the hospital (with what? - do we know?) & he's making out with Erica? I don't think so!
And the Fusion supply of lipstick - why wouldn't they check their inventory before marketing a product? They are a group of stupid women! Another puh-leeze!!

Oh, another funny blurb from my wife who watches the show infrequently now. She saw the scenes with Maurona and Morgan (the brittish murderess) and just looked at me and said... "What is that Nicole Kidman wanna-be doing on this show." I was drinking coffee at the time. Big mistake, with her tone and how she said it, I laughed for a few minutes (and made a little mess)..

Man every time I think the show cannot get more pathetic they go and prove me wrong. Jake is leaving, and today I read Trey is leaving. Aiden is the biggest bore. And where is Anna...yes I know she is off needing surgery...is she leaving too? They just about have it where I will stop taping and watching and I have been faithful for almost 30 years!!!

Hi Everyone!

Pembo and Minniecarousel - they said that Lily is in the hospital with viral pneumonia, I believe. Regardless, I don't understand why that's an excuse for Jack and Erica to be making out in the penthouse which Chris designed for them to live in! Very weird turn of events - I wonder what made them decide to pair Jack and Erica up, now?? And it looks like they're going to be doing more than kissing, on Monday's episode - let's hope that Chris doesn't happen to come home in the middle of the day!

I hope that Maureena leaves Ed-dumb for good, this time - how else would he expect her to react to his telling her that he drugged her with untested medication, without her knowledge?! I was so happy when she seemed angry with him, at the end of the episode.

Loved the scene with the Fusion ladies having their "PR Event" at PVU - they are all very funny together - I've been enjoying those scenes - especially Greenlee's and Kendall's quick one liners!

Why the heck is Aidan going along with Morgan's stupid safe breaking in idea? Just to get close to Maureena? Is she going to run away to the Bahamas with him and Morgan, now, regardless of her illness, just to get out of Wildwind (hence the beach scenes that she talked about on "The View")?? I wouldn't blame her if she did: "I will turn to a life of crime, rather than stay in your clutches, Ed-dumb!"

That was about all that happened on Friday's episode, Faith!
I agree with your DW, Sarge - Morgan is a Nicole Kidman wannabe!

Can you imagine how confused Bianca would be if Erica decided to break it off with Chris and go back to Jack, now?!

welcome welcome Colorado Buffalo Mom! It is nice seeing new people here on our thread. To think about a year ago we were liking the show and posting alot of stuff. Now that the show is dull and boring this thread does not see as much action. Thats okay though, we still have a great group of ladies and sarg here.

I missed Friday's show because I was *gasp* at Epcot!!

Erica and Jackson sucking face? really? wow. poor Chris. Ok ladies, who wants to take Erica's place and steal Chris away?

Thanks for the Update, and Lucky YOU Christine, you got to be in EPCOT!! Remember, I was Suppose to be there Too, if Publix hadn't made me Full Time My Big BUTT would be there!! Now I cannot go till MAYBE May or June, not sure as yet, things are "in the Air" so to speak! Well, if nothing happens on Monday, I will be able to watch the show. Hi, ladies (& Sarge!)!

I finally got caught up on the show over the weekend (had 6 episodes to watch!). Haven't been able to say that in AGES! I have even already watched today's eppy and all I have to say about that is WHOA, NELLIE - did anyone else nearly fall out of their chair when Maureen "went down" on Aidan to get the car started?!?! OMG! I was laughing sooo hard. Aidan's facial expression seemed to indicate she got more than the car started. LOL! Was also laughing hysterically at the girls of Fusion with their cauldron of lip gloss.

I guess a 30-year habit is hard to break because I'm still watching every minute of every episode albiet well after the original airdate. The only thing I ff'd through was JR and Laurie in cyberspace. How stupid was that?! Other than the teen angst I'm still enjoying the show. Guess I'm hopelessly addicted.

Also took the time to catch up on this thread yesterday. Lisa - I had tears in my eyes laughing at your 5 scenes of the day post. Too funny! And, Sarge - tell your DW she was dead-on with the Nicole Kidman wannabe observation. I didn't even think of it until I read your post and now it's all I can think of every time I see Morgan. Ya know, I might have enjoyed the Morgan/Aidan scenes more if I could understand a bloody word either of them said. (Apparently I picked up some of the slang though! ) Now there's Julian so that makes 3. ARGH! I was just getting to understand Aidan but mix him up with a couple of other limeys and I'm lost! LOL!

Welcome to all the new faces too! Hope you'll stick around. I use to be a "regular" around here but a new job has gotten in the way of all my fun. I miss all you guys! Christine & Faith - I'm still planning on being at SSW this year. I hope more of us can make it this year!

I probably won't be around much for the next couple of weeks (like y'all would even notice I've been away so long already!) because on Friday DH and I leave on a 10-day road trip with the main destination being Las Vegas with a side trip to Laughlin and Santa Fe. Woohoo! So I'll be woefully behind on the show again when we get home. Don't worry - I'll catch up somehow.

I'll try to check in again before we leave but if not, carry on without me.

Just a few comments about the show last week. I just caught up over the weekend. Did anyone else FF during the Erica/Jackson scenes or was it just me. I just sat there thinking, who cares! Those two have been around that block so many times, it is totally uninteresting to me. I didn't care about the Lily scenes, that whole thing bored me. Maybe it was the stupid words at the bottom of the screen all week announcing the upcoming kiss. I just, frankly, could not have cared less. The one part of that scene I did catch between hitting the commercial advance button was when Erica said she forgave Jackson a long time ago. Again, WHO CARES!

I was thrilled to not see Frog boy (JR) on the show very much last week. It saved me a lot of wear and tear on that commercial advance button on the VCR...

I really am enjoying this Fusion thing. It is so funny and entertaining. Again, my wife comes along this morning with her one liners after seeing Greenlee, Kendall, Simooaaaan and Mia together.. "Didn't they all hate each other like 2 months ago.." Yes, dear, they did, now they are in business together.. LOL!

I know most of you don't care for Edmund, and lately I think he is really acting like a class 'A', um, let's just say Donkey.. ? But I really don't want to see Maurona with Aidan, in fact I would rather see Aidan with Nicole "Morgan" Kidman and see them both board a Concorde to London with a one way ticket. Now the three of them are going to the Caribbean? How exciting (Not.) Oh well, it is better than watching Frog boy. Of course watching paint peel is better than watching Frog Boy... Maybe they could take Lysistrada or Petey with them to the carribean and it would be remotely funny... Oh well.
