Yes, don't worry, Christine - we will keep this thread alive, even if it's with our complaining about the new direction that "AMC" may be taking! Thanks for the spoilers.......even though I didn't read them!

Yesterday's show was nothing special. With the exception of Maureena's pseudo recollection of the day that Ed-dumb ripped Sam out of her arms to give him back to Kelsey. I'm wondering - with this drug that Ed-dumb gave her, will she only remember the BAD and PAINFUL parts of their relationship?! So stupid. But I guess they need something to do with David, while Anna is away.

The whole thing with Mia being the spokesmodel and Kendall being mad is silly. And as for Tad.......HE'S THE ONE THAT ENCOURAGED JAKE TO ASK MIA TO MARRY HIM IN THE HOSPITAL, AND NOW HE'S SCOLDING JAKE FOR "RUSHING" INTO MARRIAGE??!! What happened to Tad's "seize the moment - spend every minute that you can, together" attitude?? There's that lack-of-continuity thing, again.

And the storyline with Aidan and Morgan is just boring. It was better when he was hiding out with Kendall and Maureena.

Oh well, maybe today's show will be more entertaining!

I missed Monday's show because of the BUCS. They broke in with the send off of the players for the whole hour. I am sure I did not miss much. I enjoyed seeing the tens of thousands of fans out there sending our guys to the SUPERBOWL!!

I don't know if anyone else gets T.V. Guide, but in the recap for the week it said, "Doug stoops to a new low." And I thought, Doug Who? Anyone else? There's no Doug on AMC-Or did I miss it in all the boredom?

Also, don't know if anyone else cares, but Jack Scalia has confirmed on his website that despite rumors, he is not leaving All My Children and that he will be part of a "major" storyline soon.

Of course, he also says "I'm on All My Children for good!" How can he say that?

Jake, really needs a wax on those eyebrows. How sad that is what I took away from his scenes with Tad today. The girly dr he was eyeing at the end of the show is much cuter than Mia. Go Jake!

Doug is Laurie's father. You probably don't recall his name because he's in the storyline that puts everyone into a coma.

Hey, Christine & Faith - we're having crazy weather down here in the Houston area too. It got up to 78º day before yesterday and we had to run the a/c. Today the high will be in the mid-40's and it's suppose to dip into the low-20's tonight. It's nuts!!

Haven't watched any of this week's shows yet but I gotta say I sat down and watched all of last week's shows on Sunday (in one sitting!) and I didn't ff through anything so I took that as a good sign. Maybe I'm just so addicted after 30 years of watching that I'll watch no matter how bad it gets. The teen story wouldn't be so bad if they had decent actors. NununuJR is just awful and he brings Laurie down with him. She seems okay when she's in scenes without him. It's painfully apparent how bad NununuJR is when he's in scenes with David Canary. It actually makes me cringe! I like Jamie and Joanie better. I wish they'd concentrate more on them if they must focus on a teen storyline.

The show is boring me lately. I only saw maybe the last 1/2 hour yesterday and bits of pieces the last couple days. I don't even really care that I've missed it.

We definitely have to keep this thread going, no matter how horrible the show has gotten.

LOL! You guys really aren't paying much attention, are ya?! Doug is Laurie's father. (Sherry, you must have been posting at the same time as me - see my post before yours. ) Henry is the new brainiac Asian student in Maggie's class. The professor paired them together for lab work.

I know this is from a few days ago, but I am just catching up.. But I have a nit.. Is anyone else really TIRED of these little Edmund fantasies about Maurona getting her memory back. I watched Monday's show last night when Edmundo drugged Mauron. All of a sudden she recalls everything about her life. My first reaction THANK GOD!!! This storyline is OVER! I was actually happy for like 10 seconds, then I realized it was a fantasy and I wanted to scream! This memory storyline has gone from mildly interesting, to boring, to stupid. I wish they would end it.

OK, I actually made it through the entire show today. The last few episodes have been so boring that I've dropped AMC to do something else (usually these boards ). Anyway, can someone fill me in on this new assistant at Enchantment, the foreign sounding one? I DON'T LIKE HER! I can't decide if she's a spy sent to get Enchantment secrets or if she's trying to come on to Bianca. Maybe both!

I love the way Petey always seems to get in trouble when Kendall is supposed to be watching him. You think she would learn by now! That little guy is a better actor than nu J.R. anyday!

Right now it is 68 degrees and just got thru raining! Yep, going to be about 35 in the city of Miami! Haven't seen those temps since the 60's. OK....I saw 30 min of the show today....was that CHAD LOWE playing the part of Mike?? It looked JUST like him if it wasn't. And, the foreign sounding woman...isn't she the ENEMY? Glad the "teen Brady Bunch" wasn't on today, I am SOOO SICK of them!!

Poohbear123, it was -5 here this morning, with an anticipated high of around 9.... I would take 68 right about now. We have family in Miami and SoFla though, so I know those temps are really cold for you guys. I heard some people down there don't have a way to heat their homes... In that case 35 would be really cold!
