What I want to know is this.. Besides the ability to shape shift into new and different body types, this Dr. McMillian must have no life at all. I mean look.. Mia was at Brooke's party, Mia falls out window, Mia goes to hospital all in the same night, right? Mia is still in ER when Edmundo and Maria are discussing her flashback.. Same night, right, Maria dashes off to see the Dr. at what, about midnight? One AM? What time is it anyway? Is Dr. McMillian some kind of alien who can metamorphasize into new bodies, plus has the ability to change time. (Isn't this the 3rd or is it the 4th actor to play Simone's dad?) Then Brooke is going to bed, presumably after the party/head-diving/exposee experience at Adam's, and Edmund comes by.. I realize this is only a soap, but they really, REALLY, have the time out of wack on AMC lately. It is beginning to get frustrating.

I was thinking exactly the same thing about the timing of the day / night / whatever in PV, Sarge! Very funny! I'm thinking "you mean that when Edmund showed up at Brooke's, it was still supposed to be the same night of the costume ball??? What time DID Maria call Dr. MacMillan?" Very funny! By the way, forgive me for just realizing that you are the same Sarge whom I have "met", over on the Trivia Thread! And I was falling off my chair laughing when I read your hypothesis regarding Dr. MacMillan's morphing and not having a life! (the only thing that he does with his spare time, apparently, is harrass and humiliate his daughter, and occasionally visit his son in Boston!)

Yeah, didn't you love the way that Mateo said "I had my dream come true, so I SHOULD LET YOU HAVE YOURS" to Hayley, Faith??!! What a controlling jerk! He "should let" her have hers?! How nice of him. I used to love Mateo, when he was being the nice guy and trying to woo Hayley away from Alec. In more recent years, he has practically become a mini-version of his narrow minded father. At least it looks like we will get to see "real Mateo" with Maria, before he leaves, tomorrow for the Thanksgiving episode.

Lilboo - I'm right there with ya - I was so happy when Brooke ordered Ed-dumb out of her house - I was literally clapping and saying "it's about time!" (that she stand up to him and call him on the fact that he never acknowledges their - very recent - "past" - their feelings for one another - their - albeit short - marriage, etc.) But then I was so disappointed when they sort of "made up". Come on - they basically just shook hands and said "let's be friends". Can they REALLY "be friends" after how he treated her? And after how he perceives she "betrayed" him? I wish that Brooke had continued on her rant, about how "all of a sudden" he seemed to care about her after he found out that she was with Adam, and thrown him the heck out of her house!

I think that a "realistic" storyline would be good, too, PNelson and Christine. A lot better than libidozone and Proteus, that's for sure! I liked your theory about what's going to happen to Mia in surgery....and with Jake, afterwards!

Yeah, Joanie's parents were something else, Pembo and Sherry! I loved what Jamie said to Joanie and to her parents, though. I really enjoyed those scenes, and the scenes with Brooke, Tad, and Jamie. This Jamie is great! And I like Joanie, too. I hope that they make THEM (and NOT JR and Laurie) the new "young lovers" on the show, if that's the theme that they want to concentrate on. It will be one of those "forbidden young love" things, like Jenny and Greg, Hillary and Tad, Anita and Bobby......and so many others.

I also enjoyed the scenes with Greenlee, Trey, and Simone. I can't believe how "mean" Greenlee was to them - even though of course we understand why. I thought that it was very nice of Simone to make yet another attempt to be Greenlee's friend, knowing that she would probably be humiliated and blown off. I really like Simone, now, whereas I couldn't stand the sight of her, earlier this year. And I liked her outfit today, too! DH commented that all of a sudden, they're making Trey into this "nice guy". I replied that he was a "nice guy" when he came on the show....then they turned him into a villain.....they'll probably have him be a "nice guy / villain", like David, in the future.

Looking forward to seeing what they will do for the Thanksgiving episode, tomorrow! Last year's, where everyone was sitting around the huge table outside Hayley and Mateo's townhouse was really nice, as I recall!

...not to make light of the condition...but she's halfway there!!

Only caught the tail-end today...but on a related note-I know some here really hate THE VIEW but they had a segment with Rebecca Budig which was really kind of cute!!! She was throwing a party for some of the AMC gang and a party planner was helping her out. At the party Eva Larue and Aidan showed up together and at the party I think she was feeding him something-they looked VERY COZY! Uh-oh, look out ED-dumb! Rebecca's so different from her Greenlee portrayal-and her apartment is not at all like Greenlees'! It's very earthy, warm and homey I thought. Anyone else catch this?

I'll catch the rest of the show on the Soap network tonight. I really want to comment on the bit that I saw today but whenever I do, I get it SOOO WRONG. SO I'll refrain.

Good morning AMC fans! How was everyone's Thanksgiving? i hope it was a great day.

Did anyone see yesterdays show? I taped it but have not had time to watch it yet - probably not till Sunday night.

Well I am heading over to Orlando in an hour or two to go to Universal for Grichmas - hence my title under my name. Have a fun weekend everyone.

I hardly get to see the show any more due to work, but sometimes I catch half of it during my lunch. I'm sort of feeling conflicted about it. I'm not sure that I'm really missing much! I used to hate missing it, but these days I just don't seem to care. I guess the writers need to liven things up if they don't want to lose their viewers.

As to the hour that Maria called the DR., I think she actually mentioned that during their conversation. I seem to remember her saying something about the fact that he wouldn't be there in the middle of the night if he didn't think there was something to her flashback. What was the flashback anyway? I missed it.

Hi Everyone! Hope that you all had a very happy holiday!

How was Grinchmas, Christine? You'll have to tell us about it!

Baboo - Maria remembered a conversation that she'd had with Ed-dumb just before the plane crash. She remembered preparing to go to Brooke's Woman of the Year Awards dinner and making plane reservations to go to NY. During the Thanksgiving episode yesterday, she remembered which drawer the turkey napkin rings were kept in, in the Wildwind dining room without anyone telling her. So I guess her memory is slowly coming back.

What did you all think of the Thanksgiving episode? It wasn't quite as corny or touching as last year's, though I thought it was nice when Greenlee walked into her apartment, and Trey, Maggie, Anna, Kendall, and Aidan were waiting there with the beautifully set table and dinner.

I'm also glad that we finally got to see "Real Mateo" and Maria together before he and Hayley leave the show. They need to get a new baby to play Enzo - as cute as this child is, I could swear that he looks exactly the same as he did during last year's Thanksgiving episode and hasn't grown at all! By soap opera time standards, he should be in pre-school, already!

The thing with Erica, Bianca, Myrtle, and Opal in jail was just ridiculous, even though I liked the part where Erica befriends her fellow "inmate" and has Thanksgiving dinner sent to her home. by the way, I wonder if Simone and company got to have their Thanksgiving dinner for "people with nowhere else to go" at Myrtle's.....if Myrtle, herself, was in jail!

I wish that I had seen the piece on Rebecca Budig on "The View", Lilboo! It sounds like it was very interesting!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and didn't eat TOOOO much... I know I didn't, I came down with a cold late Wednesday and was feeling pretty icky yesterday.. Oh well, at least I didn't eat too much.. I haven't seen Wednesday or Yesterday's show yet so I have some catching up this weekend..

I wonder if this new Dr. McMillian is the start of a kinder and gentler dad to Simone. I really think it is stupid how they have her father berate her so much. I mean, I suppose it happens in real life, but it is such a downer.

Yes, we think they are leaving for good, I guess Kelly signed a longer contract with Regis! And I guess her Hubby is going to be a "BIG MOVIE STAR"! ( i doubt very seriously...) Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving!

Kelly has said for a while that she wants to be a stay at home mom if Mark's movie career takes off. Hard to imagine she would give up as prestigious and lucrative a job as being cohost with Regis, but I can fully understand her wanting to be with her kids..

What I have heard is that Mark is definately leaving the show.. Kelly will be back from time to time, but not on contract.. Of course we have heard that before. What I am wondering is if Mark is shooting himself in the foot.. We already know Kelly is a big success, what if his (Mark's) movie career tanks.. More than 1/2 the Daytime stars seem to come back when they don't make it. Why would AMC want him back without Haley?

Well, Sarge, Mateo could come back without Hayley to be an active part of 'THE SANTOS FAMILY", now that it seems that they are all congregating in PV, once more. If Julia decides to come back full time after her appearances in December, then maybe Anita and Rosa will follow.....and all the Santos's will be together again! Mateo could continue to run S.O.S. and go on "spy missions" with Tad or Chris or Ed-dumb or Trey or David, or whomever happens to be playing "amateur spy" at the time......

Come to think of it, when Hayley and Mateo leave, I wonder who WILL be running S.O.S.??!! If Ryan was still around, I would suspect that he and Mateo would "bury the hatchet" once and for all (since Mateo never really trusted him again after his almost-affair with Hayley), and leave the business to him. But since Ryan is not there, there are a cornucopia of unemployed people in PV to choose from. Will THAT wind up being Greenlee's, Kendall's, and Simone's new business venture together? Can any of them be trusted around that much alcohol on a daily basis, without breaking into random bar room brawls or "benders"?? Maybe Maureen will say "well, I did work as a waitress for awhile, before I realized that I wanted to work with children....I'll take over S.O.S.!" Since Aidan already is a bar tender and since Trey will inevitably lose his license to practice law, maybe they will take it over. It will be interesting to see what they do.....or if S.O.S. goes the way of the many other PV business establishments which we no longer see or hear about......like The Chicken Shack, The Insomniac Cafe, The Serving Spoon (well, we occasionally hear about it, but never see it - I always confuse it with BJ's, anyway), Myrtle's Boutique........
