But what time does AMC come on where you live and what time zone are you in? Does it start earlier than 1:00pm Eastern time? If so, that's why you're a day behind. The live feed out of NY is 1:00pm EST. I think it has to do with the fact that you don't switch back and forth from daylights savings time.

Brandie....I can understand why you would be confused since you live in Indiana! I live in southwestern Indiana and we get AMC at noon, which is CST. Do you observe Daylight Savings Time where you live?

ok..at first, i thought that you were picking on me living in indiana, until i read the rest of your post!!!

i'm actually in fishers, in north indianapolis...i used to have this whole thing figured out, but for some reason, this year is throwing me. i think it's cuz i lived in ft wayne for the last 11 years and i was always reminded of ohio/michigan time in addition to ours, so i knew what time zone we were considered! but now, living in the middle of the state, you don't hear about the ohio/michigan times! i'm just so confused!!!

where is mt vernon? i should look it up, but i'm just too lazy today...

Mt. Vernon is 20 miles west of Evansville. My daughter will be living in Fishers next year while she does her student teaching at Carmel. We love going to Conner Prairie whenever we are up that way.

BTW....you're on EST and you do not observe Daylight Savings time where you live.

Hello everyone! I missed some of todays show - about the first 25 mins. I will be offline for the next 4 days, back at WDW for my b-day so you will again have to keep this thread moving for me.

brandie - if you're in Eastern Time zone and the show starts at noon, that's why you're a day behind. It comes on in your area an hour before the live feed out of NY. Before the time change you got it same day because noon your time was 1:00pm Eastern. Now with the time change noon your time is noon Eastern. It's all because you live in the part of Indiana that doesn't observe daylight savings time. During daylight savings time you're on Central Time. After the time change, you're on Eastern Time. Clear as mud?! Bottom line is that you're going to stay a day behind unless your local ABC affiliate changes the start time of AMC to 1pm (or later) or until daylights savings time starts again. Either way it would seem you would then miss a day. Unless they show 2 episodes in one day to play catch-up.

Christine - I guess this will be late since you're offline for 4 days but Happy 30th Birthday!

OMG! How funny was yesterday's show?! Besides the spotted dick comments and Maria's fast-thinking with the "Hot Docs" documentary - LOL! - I was also cracking up at the exchange between Tad and Maria at the diner:

Tad: So, basically, you spent all the time out there and you didn't get anything?
Maria: Well, look, I let Mr. Horny-bad-comb-over get close enough to smell my perfume, but he wouldn't budge.

bahahaha! I find myself liking Maria when she's in a scene with anyone other than Ed-dumb.

I enjoyed the daydream sequence Greenlee had about her and Leo. I found this much more enjoyable than all the montages they've been showing lately. To be honest I ff'd through the last montage (earlier this week) as I was trying to get caught up on the show from my trip. I welcomed it then because I got through the day's show faster. Enough with the montages already!

So, so......we're waiting to hear some stories from SSW, ladies! Tell us all!!

I really hope that Liza isn't playing one of her little "cat and mouse games" with Brooke, now. I was happy when she said to Brooke "let's have some fun. Don't we deserve some fun?" And I'm thinking YES! STOP SULKING AROUND ADAM'S MANSION, GET OUT THERE, AND BE THE CHARACTER WHOM YOU USED TO BE, ALREADY!!!! I wonder if they will have the masquerade ball ("annual" ball? I never remember there being a ball to raise money for the shelter, before. In fact, they haven't even mentioned the shelter since Gabriel was around, last summer!), or if it's just a plot device. Or I wonder if they will have this ball in place of the Crystal Ball, since Maria is back, now. Or if they will have the Crystal Ball anyway, and have Maria host it? (she will have her memory back by then, of course - I'm still betting on the inevitable "Christmas Miracle"!)

Trey is another example of "people in PV who travel all over the world.....but who don't work". Now that Vanessa is gone (and she seemed to be his only client, unless you count Chrissy....uh, I mean Mia), Trey hasn't worked at all.....so how does he have the money for his new Leo-wardrobe and international plane fare?? Is he going to devote the rest of his life to following Greenlee around, walking into her homes without knocking, and generally freaking her out?? (Not that I mind.....in fact, I wouldn't mind him walking into MY home without knocking! )

Thank God we were spared Anna and David for one day......we got stuck with Liza and Adam, instead, but at least they were kinda funny.

Tad and Maria are not police people or CIA / FBI Agents.......even after catching the "Hot Doc" calling David, what right do they have to demand to see private medical files? And why did the "Hot Doc" just show them to them without asking for some proof that they are at least somehow "connected" to the PV D.A.'s office???

Okay, okay! I don't have too much to tell since I only spent a grand total of about 4 hours at SSW but here goes.

We saw the Motorcade Parade (or whatever the heck they call it) with Rebecca Budig and Sam Page. They have a Q&A session in the middle of it that Walt Willey hosts. There were 3 other soap stars there but they were from other soaps so I have no clue who they were. The stars are driven in cars where they exit the cars to the stage and then after the Q&A session they get back in the cars and drive off. Christine and Faith knew where to stand for the good pictures as they were driving off. I think that's how Faith got all her great photos from the different parades.

Walt Willey asked Sam what he did the day before when he was done with his SSW obligations. He said his handler (or companion or whatever they call the Disney CM assigned to the star) took him to play miniature golf. She let him win the first two holes and then they started playing for money. He said, "She kicked my butt!! I was hustled!" LOL!

Sam and Rebecca were also asked about the possibility of Trey and Greenlee getting together. Of course, they side-stepped the question but we all know that's where it's heading. Rebecca was also asked about being in Batman Forever (very small role) and kissing Chris O'Donnell. She said kissing Josh was better. One of the "other" soap stars said, "There goes your movie career." Then WW said something about not if Josh makes it big in the movies.

We were standing near Vincent Irizarry's autograph signing area when he was being escorted there. We were probably 15 feet away. A lady standing near us (she was probably in her mid-50's) acted like she was going to faint and said she needed a doctor. LOL!

That's about it for my SSW stories. Faith emailed me a couple of pictures of VI. She didn't think they were that good but I think they're great. I'll try to get them posted later today.

I don't know why but this made me bust out laughing.

Hoo boy, and how about that look on Anna's face when Maria was on the stand and she said to David, "You think I'm going to believe your lies? No, not anymore, not that you cared about me, that you loved me. You know what? To think about you kissing me all those years ago -- it makes my stomach turn." Anna looked like she had just been slapped. (I'm not too crazy about the character of Anna but Finola is a phenomenal actress.) And then, of course, the court room brawl broke out. Can't have a soap opera court room scene without a brawl. David should have just punched Ed-dumb in the throat. That would have dropped him like a sack of potatoes.

What was the deal with Trey talking about being banned as a lawyer for 3 months and getting a psyche evaluation?! When the heck did all that happen?! Sounds like he already has his get out of jail free card except it wasn't wrapped up nice and pretty like Liza's.

Great posts, Aprille! Thanks for giving us the "scoop" and describing your SSW experiences! And thanks for posting those great pictures - they came out wonderfully, Faith!

Sorry that this is a quickie - I have been experiencing some pretty bad pain in my back, neck, and arm for the past week, and finally went to a chiropractor this morning. He said that I have a pinched nerve and that (among other things) I should stay away from the computer for a few days. So please forgive me if I can't post for a bit - as hard as it is for me to stay away from the computer, I guess I'll have to until the pain begins to subside!
