You can now buy ALL MagicBands for friends and family, included Limited Release and Limited Edition ones at the special parties.

They are ALL "link-it later" now! You no longer need your park tickets in hand to buy one, and others can buy them for you.

Thats a BAD idea. I understand the desire for normal people to be able to do this, but I can't wait to see the scalper prices now that the bands are sellable on ebay.

I think there still is a limit to 2-per-person to buy the Limited Edition ones, but that is easy to get around by just going from shop to shop.

I agree that they will sell out much quicker and skyrocket on eBay. But I also know that Disney has a lot of overstock on some of these bands.... the Olaf "In Summer" band and the Halloween Party band are still available, as well as everything else out since then, so they may have done this to move stock quicker.
