Atlantis on Paradise Island is WONDERFUL but it is very expensive!

Thanks i will check that one out

The Atlantis is beautiful. Lots to do and the food is excellent. It is very expensive compared to others. I stayed at Riu Paradise Island last year and really had a great time. The seafood was delicious. Sandals has a couples all inclusive there also, but I havent stayed at that one but did a few in Jamaica. They run a nice program with very nice accomodations.

Where do you stay in Vegas?

We stayed at SuperClub Breezes in Nassau.

You have to be over 16 to stay here.

It wasn't the nicest place we've ever stayed, but we would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at breezed bahamas and it was like one giant frat party. The drinking age is 18 and the average age of guests the week I was there was 18. There were there to Party hard. Not that I mind that, I do like to party too. But when you have people drinking 30 beers all day at the swim up bar and not getting out to use the restroom one time it gets kinda gross. There were always lines for drinks and the teeny bopper crowd was a bit on the loud and obnoxious side for me. Food was also kinda blah. If I were to go back again I would go to Sandals or Atlantis.

We went to the Sandals (Couples only) Resort in Nassau. It was absolutely wonderful. The food was great and room was amazing! We had two separate rooms with beautiful marble floors. We had a four poster mohagany king bed and lovely bathroom. We had a fully stocked bar and we ordered several bottles of champagne from room service, all included. We snorkled, kayaked, had massages and basically laid around.

What I really like is that there were no children there. Don't get me wrong, I love kids, but if I am taking a vacation without my own, I certainly don't want to be around others. :teeth:

Also, they only allow couples, so no "frat party" mentality.

Thank you everyone for anwsering. We just started checking places out, and i have seen tv commericals for sandals.

As far as vegas this year we are staying at The venetian

i am so excited about all of our trips

We stayed at Breezes and really enjoyed it. It wasn't like a frat party at all when we went. I guess it depends on the time of year you go. In September, the frat boys should all be in school, so it could probably be real relaxing.

As someone else said, it definitely wasn't the nicest hotel, but we enjoyed the food, pools and beach. It was also a short walk to the casino down the street. You could also easily catch a jitney to go into town.

Oh sorry, I thought it said bananas!

We had our "weddingmoon" (wedding ceremony + honeymoon) at the Sandals Royal Bahamian in 2003. No kids, all adults, all couples. Two giant pools, some smaller, more private pools in the cottage section, several restaurants to choose from, a 1/2 of a semi-private island off shore with ferry service (there is another pool over there, a restaurant, and more beach--the other half of the island I think belongs to a cruiseline & their guests), all the food and alcohol you can consume, and a spa with salon services. I did not have any complaints while there, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Our room was in the Windsor block (newer) and was huge, with a nice balcony with a table and chairs, and a big four poster bed and a huge tub, etc.

FYI, the atmosphere is very Caesar's Palace as far as decor--it is NOT your tropical paradise type of a place with huge white beaches and nothing for miles but hammocks. The beach is actually VERY small, but again, you do have the option of the beach on the off-shore island as well. We had a wonderful time and I would go there again!

Heading to the RIU in July. Should be a great time, going to swim with the dolphins too. :thumbsup2
