All Four Parks on the same Day

I did it too...took advantage of early and late hours and was able to be at DTD and PI too! And yeah I slept like crazy that night! But it was fun and worth it! Started at AK, then MGM, then Epcot and ended at MK! :wizard:

I thought that was impossible :earseek:

I have some relatives that may be going in a few months and may only have one day to see the parks. I'd love for them to see the three shows.

Could you please give me some tips on how to accomplish such a feat?

I think it can be done around Christmas and New Years. MGM runs a 6:30 PM Fantasmic! and then you go over to the MK for Wishes at 8:30 and then go to Epcot for the 9:30 IllumiNations.

I can't swear to it, but I'm pretty sure DH and I have done 3 parks in one day on our trips without the kids (even if just to eat at one of the parks). We have for sure done 2 parks and DTD. When at WDW, I love to go go go, but DH likes his rest, so I appease him :confused3 . This year, we are going in Oct. I am hoping DD12 will come, so I can sneak out with her for the extra evening hours, while DH and DD2 (will be turning 3) go back to the room. Last year, on arrival day (off season in Sept), we ate lunch at AS Mo, hit MK for the parade & rides, drove to Baskerville's for dinner, and then to MGM for Fantasmic. DH said it couldn't be done....well, we did it! This is the first year we'll be able to do early morning and extra evening hours- oh, my poor DH :rolleyes1 :love2:

This is my daughters Birthday wish... to be at Disney 'on' her birthday... get up early do a character breakfast (with birthday cake and singing  ) then get to MK - do her favorite rides - then to DAK for Dinosaur.. then to Downtown Disney (for lunch, a cake and singing  ) then to MGM for ToT & RnR, then to Epcot for MS & TT and a birthday pearl oyster from Japan, then Dinner (with cake and singing  ) and fireworks!

Lord Help me :rotfl:

On a recent trip to Cocoa Beach, I realized I was in Florida for the 5/5/05 begining of DL 50th anniv. I arrived at AK at about 8:10 a.m. My plan was to hit all parks and do at least one attraction in each. I rode Safari twice then walked around AK. Left and caught the EPCOT bus and got in line for Soarin'. This took almost an hour. I walked back to the International Entrance and took the boat to MGM Studios. The new Car show was not until 5:30, so I quickly went to see Beauty and the Beast. I took the bus then Monorail to Magic Kingdom. It started to pour out, so I went into City Hall and got a seating for the Plaza Restaurant. I walked through the stores on Main Street and checked in and had lunch. It was around 3:00 because I saw some of the parade. I even took a picture through the window and it came out pretty good! It was of Mickey in the globe, of course. I also rode the People Mover and walked over to Toontown and caught the Train. I stayed on for 1 1/2 rides and got off near Splash Mountain. I walked back to the front of the park (waiting in line for Carmel Popcorn on my way through!). Then I picked up the Ferry back to the buses and went back to AK parking lot for my car. So, I did at least one attraction in each park and I think I used each of the transportations available. I had a great time solo. I would do it again.
I took lots of pictures, too. I was back in Cocoa Beach about 8:00 p.m.

(This was all started because a friend bought me a Disney t-shirt that was the wrong size. I was planning to only go to Downtown, but when I remembered it was 5/5/05, I had to go to the parks. I finally got downtown around 6:00 p.m. and changed the shirt and had a Mickey bar by the water)

We did the goal was to visit all 4 parks and to ride 1 major ride in each and use all mode of transportation.
We were staying at Fort Wilderness, so we took the boat over to MK, rode splash, then took the monorail to EPCOT where we got fastpasses for Test Track, went through the gateway and got a boat for MGM, rode TOT, took a bus to AK did the safari, took the bus back to EPCOT and did test track, if I remember well we did other rides also that day. My next goal is all 4 parks, and the 2 waterparks.
We also did all "minor Parks" in 1 day, the 2 water park and Disney quest......
We do have premium AP, which make it easy ticket wise..

I planned on having 3 parks in 1 day on my last day but now I think I'll plan for all 4 although that is harder for me as I'm going the last week in July!

We started in An. Kingdom, did the safari, dinasour, tough to be a bug and kali. Then moved on to MGM, did RNR, TOT, muppets, then left. Then Magic Kingdom, but we could only do BTMRR, it was crazy busy that day:) Then finished out the day at Epcot, did Test Track, living Seas, walked around World Showcase, did the innoventions buildings, and saw illuminations. It was a budget trip and we only had a 1 day hopper left for each of us. It was actually a pretty tiring day, lol.

Sounds difficult, but doable. Thank you, Robinb! :teeth:

I think if I did all 4 parks in one day, I would feel like this when I came back to the hotel room!!

but the only reason why we did was because our digitual camera decided to mess up our pics, plus, i lost about 75 pics also on it, so we back tracked to the 3 parks on our last day there. we did mk for cp breakfast, ran around the one side of the park with tomorrowland, that area, then ak, backtracked and even met up with characters with did not see the first time, still ended up losing some of those thanks to that camera, and then we headed over to mgm for the rest of the day. let me tell you though, this was not a very easy task with a 19 mth old, a 5 yr. old and a cranky dh, but we did it.
this time though we have single day tickets, so we will not have that option but we also have a better camera this time around as far as digitual goes. my dh now understands why i take the 35 mm for backup, which i did have, i just only had so much film and was not spending almost $20 for another box.

LOL We've done 3 parks in one day but it wasn't really intentional and it was with evening EMH so it was extended hours. We started out at MK, went to Epcot, then headed over to MGM for EMH hours. I don't think we'll do more than 2 parks in a day ever again though- it takes up too much time to travel to the next park and such. I'm in awe of those that did 4 in one day... I don't see how you could do very much at each park. LOL

A few years ago the Orlando newspaper had an article where 2 reporters went to 6 parks (including the 2 universal parks) in one day. IT was fun to read.

Dona
I can see doing all 4 Disney parks but can't imagine adding in the two Universal parks. Wow!!!

On our last trip (November 2003) my son (who is autisitc and loves all things Disney) happened to have his birthday on Thanksgiving. We decided to do AK that day because we thought it would be the least crowded park. Since a) this is my son's least favorite park and b) it was my son's birthday, my wife decided to take him that day while the rest of us did AK and do all his favorite rides.

She drove with us to AK and parked the car and hopped the bus to TTC. Took the ferry to MK and rode all three mountains. Hopped on the monorail to EPCOT and rode test track. Took the boat to MGM and rode RnR. Met back up with us at AK and rode the dino spin.

Worked even better than we had hoped. He had a great birthday.
