All DVC'ers in and around Illinois

Some of us were thinking of getting an unofficial DVC meet together sometime in Peoria, Illinois ( probably after the 1st of the year ). This will give us a chance to meet fellow vacation club members, share experiences, advice, and get to make some new friends.

Our thoughts were for a Saturday night, drinks, dinner, and a casual get to know each other afterwards.
I know there have to be more Disney addicts then just us. I am hoping we can get this rolling and make some definite plans. Who knows, maybe we can make this an annual thing.

Scott - I know where Peoria is but for the life of me I can't remember how long of a drive is it from the south Chicago suburbs?

The drive would be around 2 - 2-1/2 hrs. I think with enough people we will definitely have a good time.

I'd definitely be interested. We live in Pekin. That's only 15 minutes away! I'll pm you. Our children are pretty much grown and gone, so it will just be DH and myself. I will mention it to 2 other couples that go to our church and a couple from where my husband works. They are DVC members also. Thanks for the invite!

I'm from the Quad-Cities here (Iowa side), so Peoria is just a short drive away. I would go for certain, except that I'll be spending the winter in Florida.
