Win this virtual Expedition Everest Chair exclusively at the all-day Ride-A-Thon on Sunday March 12.

You mean to tell me that the one prize me and my team got, along with the other runner-ups got is a waste? Now all we have to show of our victory is the stupid pin?

It would be a bit better if they at least put a link to everybody's names on the vmk site so we can at least be seen.

The otehr people got rooms?

i mean really... thats is the meanest thing yet.

when i saw this i screamed out loud! This is So rude!!! how could they do this? My team and i spend hours at the base camp, and then we when and are all proud, but all we get is a reallly cool chair, but then we see it will be worth nothing! ahhhh! how could that do this?
that is excally how i feel! isn't there something we can do? i just want to pull the hairs out of my head!

You win, get your pin... show it off for 2 days thinking, this is sweet because not a lot of people have it... and then poof... it goes on sale at the emporium for 50 credits?

and now all they have to do is get an easy way to get the room they gave out... Other then a quest because it would still be "rare" to a certian extent...

Um, I'm on the side of things where I was excited about the chairs. But I realize how awful for you guys who won the chairs. I mean it might have been nice for them to offer the chairs as other prizes for something, would have been a compromise of sorts. But wow, the idea of people just being able to grab 50 chairs really sounds annoying for those who won it....

Well That is all I can say. But the biggest problem the winner had was it really would look good as a pair. Well now they have there wish. Now except for the pin no one will know who the winners were. Which is kinda sad because I saw this chair as something a player could put in there room kinda like a trophy they could sit on and say :"See what I won."

There is no point to ranting because we all know that the safari room will either become a prize for a new game or something you get from animal kingdom.

Well we kept saying this is a kids game and they should be more generous. Well they heard us and now we all can have the fabulous chair.


So in the end all is good because we all used all our credits for something we all will get someday. We just paid for it in advance and now it is on lay a way.

Where is this ride-a-thon going to take place? On VMK-it is not mentioned in the calendar-?? Or will we have to ride the actual ride at Animal Kingdom to get the chair?

Also they mention real VMK t-shirts? Will we have to go to the park to get those?

I find this kind of funny. Not "HAHAHA your chair will soon be worthless funny", but more of a "HAHA VMK cheated you out of credits needed to make an Everest ride and then giving your award out for free later". And then not even all of that. I think VMK has a serious problem with making people angry about VMK's "super-awesome contest rewards". I'll laugh if they decide to give every person on VMK 30 or so Safari Lodge Rooms.

Sure, why not! Inferno and Stitch cards for everyone! Woot!

I am not sure if I'll ever be able to get the hat and pin, two items in the
game I collect every single time. I'm not fond of the gift thread for it,
as I don't feel it's fair to the gifters. I'd rather try to offer a trade for it,
more than likely to be rejected.

Well, very soon many of us will be able to say,

"We won second prize in the Everest event, and all we won was this lousy
VMK tshirt..." (Well, and that pin, basically.)

It was so prophetic of Jellyrolls to put that tshirt comment in her signature
during the event!
