All circuits are busy when calling

I have an upcoming trip in the beginning of August. I have been trying to call Disney tech to remove a profile under my family and friends (i can not do this online) every time I call, all circuits are busy or it’s an 80 wait. My question is..would a CM working at the hotel be able to do this? Wondering if I could have this profile removed when I get there?

thanks

Try calling right at 7am est when they open. And a 80 minute wait is actually a lot better then the 2/3 hour times I have been getting.

Removing a profile from MDE requires Disney IT to handle the issue. A front desk CM is not likely to be able to accomplish this for you.

Is there a special IT number, or is it the regular phone number to call? I need to do this same thing!

Another way you can remove someone from your profile is using a dummy email address and creating their own account. We removed my Mom, once was enough for her apparently. :sad2:

I'd call as soon as they open or around 2pm. Then again later on in the evening. Peak peak is probably from 8am-1pm.

Take the 80 minutes and multitask. While on a 2+ hour hold I did laundry, dry Swiffered my floors, Swiffer wet jetted my floors and emptied the dishwasher 😂

i Called the main number and you go thru the system and can get tech services. I called earlier and it said 90 minute wait. I couldnt wait but they gave me the option to get a callback. I will say I was pleasantly surprised that someone from tech support called me back about 90 minutes later. I told her my issue and she resolved it in a couple of minutes!

I used Callback twice recently and it was very efficient! I highly recommend it.

For future reference, I had a similar issue. I needed to remove an old, secondary profile that I must have created for my son 5 years ago. Not sure why he had two profiles, but he did.
I used the chat feature on MDE on my phone, and they were able to remove it. Perhaps you could try that? It took awhile for them to reply to my chat, like an hour or two, but they could do it. Worth a shot.

Try the chat feature in MDE. I’ve had good luck with it.

If you can't resolve it before your trip, go to Guest Services if you have some down time in one of the parks. They were able to update my profile and it did not take long. Good Luck!

I was having this issue all last week when I decided to change my room for an upcoming trip (website wasn't working). Average wait time was over an hour every day of the week. Most times I got the All Circuits Are Busy message.

The Live Chat feature is much faster.

i am curious why it matters if you remove it. I ask because I have a few of my friends kiddos from our last trip and I thought about removing but thought it wouldn’t matter if there is no fast pass (it’s super annoying finding the right people when booking fast pass). What am I missing? Should I be trying to do this before our trip?

No, you don't need to remove the extra kids. I just called last month to remove my ex and I've been divorced for 4 years :guilty: . I only removed the extra people on my MDE because I was adding 9 people for a trip this June so it was getting cluttered.

This makes so much sense! Thank you. I actually should look because mine is starting to get cluttered too and I am adding two more kids.
