:cool1:So happy, that's us booked up for October (why can I not get my smilies where I put them? they keep going at the beginning....)

Anyway, best price was on the DLP website, until I went through and it added on £10.88 tax and £15.50 booking fee - so I checked Walt Disney Travel Company and got a better deal by exactly £15.50 - better in my pocket. Got the 30% off and half board meal plan.

It'll just be the 3 of us this time, no DS1 or DD and we're staying at Hotel New York as usual. I didn't see anything online about it possibly being closed, so can only assume it's still not in the planning.

We're going a wee bit earlier than usual, 4th October - I assume the park will have the Halloween decorations out then?

Off to try and find a new ticker now :)

Yeay!!!! Love a new booking! I asked InsideDLP on twitter about the Hotel New York refurbishment and although they didn't say whether it WILL be closed completely when the reservations take place, they did say that it won't start til the Newport Bay is finished - maybe a 1 or 2 years. Hope that helps!

Congratulations! We usually go at the beginning of October to celebrate Oliver's birthday and yes, Halloween is in full swing then. It is usually lovely weather too but nice and quiet. Good choice! :goodvibes

So pleased your booking worked out :) It's always good to have a trip to plan for. I'm sure Halloween will be in full swing by then:maleficen

Yey for another trip booked Julie :cloud9:.

Yay! We're arriving the same day as you. Halloween decorations will definitely be up, it's the reason we're going. Only 207 days to go!

Thanks all :goodvibes We normally go the following week but I can't get that week off work this year. Hoping for dry weather, blue skies and no other visitors :rotfl:Hoping BTM won't be closed.

Great news Julie!
Early October was lovely and quiet when we last visited. I'm with Torsie24 - happily awaiting your PTR and TR!
Congrats on your booking

Great news Julie :)
A early birthday present to your self will have to be bought why do we live so far away from our happy place lol.

Thanks everyone - didn't think we'd manage a trip this time, but 5 becoming 3 definitely has it's benefits ;)

We will be there 4-6 Oct! Staying at New York also. First time for us, it was that or Golden Forest Club which we've done twice so we figured now the price wasn't so bad that we'd opt for New York this time.
