i got a picture of a beaver while taking a walk today. we were shocked as we've been on the bike path too many times to count and have never seen one before!

and some canadian geese hanging out on the pond.

a beaver. there are huge dams built on that lake and all the trees have been knocked down with the usual beaver signs (chewed up to a point and they fall over). you can also kind of see the flat tail.

i'm posting these for husband...his first time really using my rebel xt( i had no ulterior motive in letting him use it, for example not like trying to insure the purchase of my 30+d ) but i think he did pretty good! the weasel or mink or what ever it is isn't quite focused in the right place but since i had never seen one just running around in the wild before i included it anyway

I was going to crop this keeping the lamb on the right, but then I noticed the expression of the other one, and had to leave him in!

This poor guy looks like he only has one leg. I think he's some kind of pigeon.
