NO pets.

Birds, bugs, farm animals, wild animals of any sort are all OK... you get the idea. :teeth: Tell us a little about the picture too. Where it was taken, when, and, if it's not obvious, what kind of animal it is.

Here's a few of my favorites.

Osprey. Taken 4/6/07 right outside my front door.

Sandhill Cranes crossing the street in Davenport, FL. Taken 3/4/07.

Male Dobson Fly. Taken 9/16/06. These things are huge! They measure about 4 inches long. This one was on the side of my house.

Here's a duckling shaking itself dry. Of course, he jumped right back in the water after I took this shot! Haha

This is a picture of the tiniest Polynesian CM that we've ever met... saw him walking on one of the paths at the resort and couldn't resist taking his picture:

Fun thread! I like the shots so far, nice stuff!!

Here's one from this afternoon in our backyard. A bee, doing what bees do.

Here's a turtle that came to visit us the other today. I picked him up, put him in a box and drove him back to the pond. He was not very happy being in the box, but he was quite happy to be back in the water when we released him! I saw a small alligator in the church pond on Friday when I took Tara to VBS, but I thought I didn't have my camera with me so no photo - got home and the camera was in the car!

Taken in my backyard last week too -

Frog that hangs out near my front door - I think they like it there because of the front light that attracts bugs. I found the daytime hiding place in one of my gutter spouts!

As promised in my earlier post, I was on the look out for the alligator when we went to church this morning.... and not to disappoint there it was! I guess it's got it's mouth open hoping something will jump or fall in!

dino exhibit at zoo for the summer, don't think the rules said anything about fake animals;)
IMG_4955copy.jpg

this scared granddaughter( will be 3 end of july) to no end..on the way in they played animals roaring, crashing trees etc, she looked around twice and covered her eyes before we even got to the animals:eek: then once we got there hopped out of the stroller and grabbed hubby's leg in a death grip so we basicallytrotted through the exhibit( which of course cost additional to go to, she is always talking about her toy dinos so we thought she'd like it but life size was something else i guess) as we were leaving she said" Swhoo, that was close":rotfl2: at least she didn't scream her lungs out, then we'd be on the "bad grandparents at the zoo threads":rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Here's a squirrel that decided to pose for us last week while we were walking along the path from the Hard Rock Hotel to USF:
