Keep the ADR and just tell them when you check in that one could not make it.

Jimminy Cricket tells me I should. My inner-Ursula tells me that in trying to do the right thing, all of my ADR's will become completely pooched.

This should put your mind at ease. We were originally a party of 6 for our Feb 2-10 trip. My BIL and SIL are not coming with us now, so I caled Disney Dining to change my ADRs from 6 to 4. The CM told me I didn't have to change, since the tables are reserved for 4-6 people. It sounded a little strange to me, but I took her for her word. I am just going to tell them when I check in that we are now a party of 4.

The only ones I would worry about would be any Dinner shows or Cinderella's Royal Table. If you have either of those booked, then you would be responsible for the meal since they are pre-paid.

We had a similar situation last summer when one of our party had to unexpectedly leave early. For the regular TS meals I just told them at check in that we are now a party of 6 instead of 7. But I had to "eat" the OOP cost for the Hoop Dee Doo because I couldnt cancel his seat in time.

So any prepaid meals I would definately call ahead and cancel.
