How much and where can you buy one?

Was reading on another thread and came across the All Access card. My attention got grabbed when I read about the $20 credit for the cafe.

We are planning to include Universal Resort, possibly the HRH, in our visit next Oct, and will be eating there, so $20 credit would be a little bonus. Unless the card costs more then $20!

Are there any other reasons to buy one?

I think there is a free one you can sign up for at the hotel, does this give you similar perks but without the $20 credit?

I'm from the UK and don't have AAA or similar, do I need something like this to purchase this?

Lots of qs!! Only just discussed with DH about staying up at Universal before heading down to WDW so I am a Universal Newbie

The card does cost $25. I bought mine at the Hard Rock Hotel gift shop and got a great little string backpack with the hard rock logo on it. I was in the need of one of those to take to the parks and was willing to buy it for that then found out that I got the $20 credit. Plus you get a nice guitar pin. I'm not sure if you buy it online whether you get anything but the card.

But it doesn't look like you get the backpack, but you do get a pin. The only issue i see with waiting to get there for the backpack (assuming they still offer that) is you have to activate your card before the $20 gets credited. I did it online via my phone or you can call, but it is a step you have to do whether you buy it there or online. It was really easy, so it might be worth holding out for the backpack.

Yes you can use it for a room upgrade, only if upgraded rooms are available. You can use the dining credit only at Hard Rock Cafe and get a 10% discount at both the Hard Rock Cafe and The Kitchen inside the hotel.

And they give you $10 for your birthday. I just bought mine this week and never dreamed they would give me the extra $10 since my birthday was the beginning of the month. I just got an email saying they were adding it to my card.

My card came today. It was supposed to come with a "limited edition membership pin" but came with a bag instead (probably like the one mentioned previously). I actually was wishing I could get the bag instead of the pin so I'm very pleased with how this worked out. So far, so good!
