Well here goes it!! My first attempt at a Disney Trip Report....Over the past couple of months I have found this board and been a lurker for the most part. I must say the people on this board are awesome, the ideas you guys come up with to make your trips and Disney experiencing magical is just unbelievable!! Ok ok I know onto the show. A little background on this I suppose would be in order.

The Cast (In Order of Appearance)

ME: Disney Dad I go by the Greg or better known as Goofy, I've come to represent all things Goofy over my 30 years on this planet. You can say I have a somewhat healthy obsession with Goofy. It all started back in HS when I tried to impress a girl who was also a Goofy lover with "Hey me too!!"
Well to this day we're best friends and she's safely out grown her obsession, personally I think she's in denial. I have a complete room with Goofy and my plates on my truck read N2GOOFY. I haven't been to WDW in almost 20 yrs so this will be a long time coming.

DW: Sherry or better known as SheShee as my daughter has nicknamed her. We've been married now almost 6 months and she enjoys everything Disney too. I know she's excited to go on this trip, but she's been so busy I've been doing must of the leg work for this vacation. Every Sunday you can find her on the couch in her favorite Pooh Sweat suit. Sherry has been to Disney several times most notably about 3 years ago for a conference.

DD: Danielle, age 11 my "Tween Princess" she loves her Snow White and is into the Hanna Montana. This will be her first trip to the World and this is the last part of her Christmas gift. We surprised her with a call from Mickey on Christmas day so she's totally excited about this trip. We kept telling her that it would be several years before we can go to Disney blah blah. You should have seen her face on Christmas day, just like those MasterCard moments "Priceless"!

And introducing....

DMIL: Barbara, she's a wonderful woman and we're glad to have her on board for the trip. She's a very young well I better not divulge her true age for fear of my safety but she's an incredible woman and I couldn't be luckier to have her as a Mother-in-law. In fact I call her Mom because she is so awesome. She'd do anything for you, good ole' down home Southern Country Fried of a woman. It's been 15 yrs or so since her last trek down to WDW so we thought we'd bring her along for the ride. I keep telling her that we're gonna drop her off a nursing home while we're there so make sure that she's packs extra clothes.

Now that you've met the cast here's the rest of the details:
We're flying down in 9 days & wakeup (to coin a phrase from DD) she is constantly reminding me every morning. Our trip dates are from 8 Mar-16Mar. While in FL we're going to be going to Sea World for a day n half. Driving down to Ft. Meyers for a day trip to visit DW's 94 y/o Grandfather and then five days at the various parks. We'll be staying at the Pop Century while there in Disney. In upcoming installments I'll include all the pre-planning activities and ADR's that we've made. Look forward to seeing people responses!

Well on to the next stop of the Goofy Express: The Plan Is Coming Together

Our Schedule is a pretty full one and will be making many stops along the way. Everyone got together and put their inputs in shortly after the first of the year and we started mapping out the trip. I went over to All Ears and printed out all the menus for the various restaurants and then laid them out and we started picking out and went through the voting process, luckily for us there were no hanging chads!! Just a heads up we chose to go with the Deluxe Dinning Plan. Once we had the restaurants selected we started making ADR's and then matched the park with the restaurants and that's how we've laid out the trip. I was pretty amazed about this whole process went. The CM we talked to was so helpful and if some of them don't work we know who to call!! DD was a little disappointed that we couldn't get into the Royal Table. We were told on 3 Jan that it was booked until the end of Aug, WOW was I could say at that point we 65 days out!! This was pretty much DD reaction to the news , but we told her we'll make up for it so with out further ado (Drum Roll Please)
