How do you get all 9's on the buzz lightyear spaceranger spin game?

My wife and I BOTH got all 999999s just last week. Here is how you do it....

The ride broke down for over 20 minutes!!!

I have only done this once! The ride stopped in one of the rooms, but it didn't shut down the guns so I pointed my gun at a high scoring target and kept shooting. THAT is the ONLY way I will EVER get all 9's again!

Oh oh, I've wanted to post this before but didnt think anyone would care. Okay, probably no one does but the thread lets me say - DH got 791,000 on his second time through. He had absolutely no inside information (I did from reading these board but I didn't share, LOL! He still walloped me.), just pure dumb luck and great reflexes. Oh and he was holding our squirming 16-month old at the time too!

I heard that shooting any of the targets on the backside of the orange robots gives you points in 100,00 increments

11 yo DD got all 9s last month while talking on the cell phone to her friend back home! I read up on all the secret spots to hit and she maxes out half way through! I only got about 400,000.

I did it once and can't tell you how....though I've heard of the "secret" target you're supposed to hit, I can never remember what it is. I must have hit it by accident that one time.

Am I the only one who comes off this ride with a twitchy thumb though? I swear my thumb will twitch for hours afterward!
