Alk or Contemporary

which one should we at. It will be just my mom and me (19) going.
How bad is transporation from alk?
I like being able to see the animals but all love the monorial do you really save that much time with the monrial? We will be going november 29- through december 10. and reasons why you choose that resort and reason why you dislike it the other one

We love AKL but don't like CR at all. The animals are awesome!! CR looks old and unappealing to me.

We love the Contemporary and any of the monorail resorts,but we've stayed more at the Contemporary than the other two.We love the towers and beleive it or not we are booked for the Contemporary for 4 nights and then moving to the AKL (first time there) for 3 nights.We have 2 rooms at both resorts because we have 7 in our party.We'd love to stay the whole 7 nights at the Contemporary in the towers (we've done it many times before)but with this package and we must have 2 rooms,it would be alot more than trying the AKL for the last 3 nights.We use the monorail alot because of health reasons,(easy to get back to the resorts,we spend alot of our time at MK),but,since this is our first trip with a child (3 years old and his first trip),staying at the Contemporary and AKL would be great for him.Besides,most of us would like to try it anyway.So,we're going Sept.27-Oct4th.After that date I can tell you alot more about both resorts.We were at the Contemporary last year during hurricane Jeanne and the staff was great and we even had to stay 2 extra days.Contemporary is like a small city all inside one big building if you need to stay in for some reason.Looking forward to the AKL also.Poly and GF are also great.
