Weird question. My daughter 19, son 13, and husband went on Alien Saucers ride during early morning magic today. The CM asked my kids their ages. Why? Is there a requirement we missed?

Only requirement that I know if is height, maybe CM was just trying to make small talk?

I believe the age to ride alone is 14. I'm a small 30 so I keep getting asked when I'm going solo. Most of the time its when I get on Pirates. I don't know if the CM was thinking that the party of 3 was going to split up into 1 and 2 and just making sure everyone could ride by themselves.

Are your kids small? The age requirement is 7 to ride alone and at least 14 to accompany a child under 7. If your kids looked younger than 14 and/or 7, the CM may have just been making sure. I saw this happen with another family the last time we rode on Aliens - they just wanted to make sure the smallest child was being accompanied by a child old enough to meet the requirement. He wasn't, so the CM had to reconfigure the family group so that each child under 7 was riding with someone 14 or up.

Incorrect. Age to enter the park alone is 14.
Age to ride alone is 7.

Yes, they were probably just making small talk or so used to asking that question it is just a habit. At 13, that should be fairly obvious that he is over 7. They asked my kids their ages too at that attraction. My kids are 9 5, and 2. When my 5 year old said 5, the CM said make sure she rides with an adult. I guess they just assumed we wouldn't put my 2 year old on without an adult because she didn't specifically state he had to ride with an adult.
