How old do kids have to be to ride in a seat alone with the parent in the other seat?

Old enough not to climb out or fall out.

Our first trip our girls were 6 and 9, they were both allowed to ride up front while DBF and I rode in the second row. I don't know that I've ever seen any kids smaller than that alone and I probably would have ridden in the front with DD if she had been younger than 6 when we went the first time.

Thanks. My girls will be 5 in a couple weeks and we can only ride when I can cajole another adult. LOL

My oldest girls rode up there at 8 and 5 with me and the little ones behind them (also on Snow White and Pinocchio). If you think they will sit still for the ride....
