We are having a Mad Hatter Tea Party/Alice in Wonderland party for my daughter's upcoming 4th birthday. Would someone please create some labels that say DRINK ME that I can wrap around water bottles. Perhaps they could have a chevron or striped background with one of the characters on it. I would love a few different designs if possible. The colors are bright and bold (red, orange, green, blue, etc). Also if I could get some coordinating food labels that say EAT ME I would greatly appreciate it. I would like these by early March. Thanks so much in advance!!

Hi melglnh2o, are you still looking for these? I can give them a go for you while I'm on an Alice in Wonderland roll :cheer2:

Can you let me know the dimensions (in inches or cm) that you need for your bottle labels - and what amount of that will be hidden by the overlap when they're wrapped around the bottles.

And what size/shape food labels do you need?

Any preferred characters?

You are like my Fairy Godmother!! I would love you to create these for me. The water bottle labels are 8.5 inches by 1 inch (1/4 inch overlap). I don't suppose it leaves a lot of room for a character on it but maybe the labels can have the "feel" of a character, whatever you think looks best.

The main characters to use for any of the labels would be any combo of Alice, Mad Hatter, Queen, Cheshire Cat, White Rabbit and Tweedle Dee/Dum (in order of importance).

I was planning on maybe using your playing cards for food labels (menu has been started but not completed) so let me get back to you on that so you don't work on something that I am not positive that I will use.

THANK YOU!!!

melglnh2o, how do these look for you? Hope you like them!

Could you do me a favour and print a sample one to make sure they're perfect for you? I would normally print a brand new DISign to check it but our printer has no ink in it at the moment so is just acting as a very large unwieldy paperweight these days.... note to self... buy ink :rotfl2:

A few styles for you with clipart and clipart-less versions of each... my own attempt at making them look like the characters somewhat... the Cheshire Cat one is obvious at least :)

- Alice & The White Rabbit -

- March Hare & Mad Hatter -

- Cheshire Cat & his tail -

- Tweedledum & Tweedledee -

- King & Queen of Hearts -

Remember these are just thumbnails, click through to photobucket and download the fullsize image from there (instructions under each picture on photobucket).

Let me know if they were what you were thinking of :thumbsup2

I am beyond thrilled!!! They look AMAZING! Better than I could have hoped for. I am at work now so I will have to wait until I am at home to print them but once I do I will be sure to let you know how they work out!

Seeing how fabulous they are, I think I will want those coordinating food labels after all. I will get back to you about the size and then I will use your wonderful playing cards for place settings, thank you cards and misc decorations.

Could I also trouble you for one more label if you don't mind. I am making mini mad hatter hats for all the kids and would like a 6 in by 4 in sign that says "Take Me" to put on the table of hats.

Sending you a virtual hug with an extra big squeeze for all you have done!!! Thank you just doesn't seem like enough but thank you very much!

You're very welcome!!!! Any particular style you prefer for the Take Me label - just a nice plain classic-sign kind of sign like from a fancy shop or would you like any characters on it?

This should be me right now.... :laundy: but instead I am :artist:.... LOL :)

Here is your 6x4 Take Me sign.... hope you like it! This has been fantastic for me... I have been stuck stuck stuck on a scrapbook layout from the teacups for months, I just wasn't feeling it, well I think I may have been inspired by your party DISigns woo hoo!!! So thank you kindly for that!

Now... later on after I actually take in the laundry and wash the dishes and actually talk to my children LOL I will add the rest of the cards to my usual thread... the rest of the cards, you say? Yup... this card perfectly inspired some journal cards which you may also have a use for :) Keep an eye out over there later!

Do let me know if this card is ok for your needs :)

This card, just like everything else you have had a hand in, is perfectly perfect! Thanks for doing it so quickly.

I have been stalking your threads and have downloaded many other things you have created :) You may see me pop over on the other thread requesting some stampers but one thing at a time! Looking forward to any and all surprises to come.

If I could do your dishes, laundry and talk to your kids (how old and how many) then I would! ;)

Thank you!

Delighted you like it!

Our kids are 7 and 3. After weeks of storms and wind and cold wet rain we have finally gotten some dry days (with just scattered showers :rotfl: not full on torrential rain) so the kids are living in the garden these days which means mama has time for a cuppa and some digiscrapping/DISigning on the computer (while supervising them of course!), woo hoo... everyone wins  except the laundry... that is currently in a to-be-folded pile/mountain!!

Great ages for kids. I am sure they are so much fun!! Thank goodness for some dry weather for you!

Btw, the water bottle labels are perfect. I printed them out and they look great.

Is your laundry done yet? ;)

LOL laundry-schmaundry... erm, no it isn't.... well it's all clean and the foldy/neat things are all put away but there is this mountain of towels to be tackled... perfect rainy day task for the kiddos - yes it's raining again, not just rain... hailstones!!! 3 times so far I've been caught out in a hail shower, ouch!

Don;t forget to let me know dimensions and styles if you want those foodlabels?

Thanks for checking out the printed versions for me :)

Hail showers don't sound like much fun! Hopefully some sun has been peaking out for you now!

Can you make me Eat Me food labels in size 5 in by 3 in. You can use the same character combos that you used on the water bottle labels if you want. Then I can just scatter them around the food tables. If it is not too much trouble would you be able to make some plain too without the Eat Me on them but still with the characters. Then when it gets closer to the date I can add some words on there if some of the food warrants a label :) I don't want to trouble you at the last minute.

We are inviting about 30 kids (is it okay to say that I hope many of them can't make it) ;) plus their parents so we will need lots of food!! I really need to start thinking more about the food instead of all the decorations!

THANK YOU!!

Sounds good! I will veer towards the style of the "take me" card (with the frame with faded section in the middle) but with the look of the water bottle wrappers? So similar colours & designs & clipart but with the "Eat me" nice and big in the middle? And for the plain ones I'll just leave the text off so it'll have the faded section you can write on.

And I totally know what you mean about the invites! It'll be a fun party.... lots of people!!!!

Thank you! That sounds great. I can't wait to see them but we have plenty of time so no rush. :)

helllooooooo :cheer2: here I am with your cards.... now I have slightly taken artistic licence... allow me to explain.... As I worked on the cards the words "eat me" and the clipart were discombobulating me, I couldn't make them work together without looking odd... so I decided to make the cards without clipart.... hope that's ok with you :)

The cards are pretty fun though, I like them! I went for a "tag" layered on top of the background styles we have already established for each character... hope you like them! 2 versions of each - an "eat me" tag and a blank tag for your own use. These are all 3x5" as requested (I've made 3x4" versions on my main thread).

I am loving these styles and they have inspired a few different ides which I will post over on my regular thread so have a peek there too, you might have some uses for them too.

Let me know if you need any changes :flower3:

These are wonderful and will be perfect for the party. I actually like that they don't have the clip art. I think it will be quite apparent what the theme of the party will be without screaming it on every decoration, etc.

I also feel like it is Christmas in March with all the other cards you have posted on your thread! Who knows what and how I will use everything when it is all said and done but one thing for sure is that you have provided everything that I could ever possibly need. And you are a very special person for doing so.

A big big thanks and then another one on top of that!!

You're very, very welcome, you are a pleasure to DISign for :flower3::flower3::flower3:

Do shout out if you'd like any other cards! I am super excited to tackle my "teacups" digiscrapping page now as your ideas have given me so many ideas, we rock!

I am truly amazed that you (and the other DISigners) do what you do for so many!! I am forever grateful. I am also glad that you have some inspiration to finish your teacups project. You had it all along, you were just waiting for some sunny skies and the laundry to be done. ;)

Who knew we would make such a great team even though there is about 3,300 miles (and a big ocean) between us. :)

I will let somebody else monopolize your time now.
