We are now on our way back towards the coast of Florida and our disembarkation day gets ever nearer. But today we have a day at sea. I got some packing done yesterday and some more today leaving the last to be done tomorrow. Only a light breakfast in Topsiders today as we had a scheduled BOB meet for lunch at Lumieres and photo after. After breakfast we went to guest services to sort out the tips for the cruise and to get an up-to-date statement and then back to the cabin in order to complete all the forms.
Disney Cruisin’ for Trivia was at 11.15am and we were joined by Rose. We got within 1 point of the winning teams – 30/32.
BOB meet lunch at 12noon at Lumieres and we were seated with Laura and Steve, Rose and Jen. An extremely pleasant lunch with lots of photos being taken on the tables occupied by BOB’ers.
After lunch more BOB’ers joined us for a group photo outside the restaurant in the atrium with Captain Mickey at the wheel. Shutters wanted $85 an hour to take an official photo. As the atrium was all set up for the art auction, I asked the cast member supervising the auction if he would take the pictures for us, approx. 12 cameras/pictures in total. This was the result…
Then the Tiara Tarts posed for their picture. Originally, it had been discussed that the ladies would wear a tiara for semi-formal night, but with arrangements being made to eat at Palo’s and Topsiders plus there was early and late diners within the group, a tiara meet at 1.30pm made the most sense. In the end, not a huge group of girls, but a sweet group anyway.
Finally, a message to our missing buddies, Sean and Becky from Robin & Mike, Walt & Di and H&R.
We do miss you guys.
Time finally to resume the packing and finishing off spending some time by the pool, just relaxing and making the most of the afternoon sun. Cars was being shown on the Jumbotron, so I sat and watched this, whilst Rick snoozed.
By 5.00pm, we leave the poolside in order to get ready for dinner. Robin and Mike are dining in Topsiders tonight and Steve and Laura have Palo’s reservations, so it was just us plus Walt and Di.
After a lovely dinner, the show tonight was Disney Dreams. As Rick didn't want to go I went with Rosie and Di, whilst Rick joined Chris, Hazel, Jessie and Jeff in Sessions. I joined them after the show. We was then going to the late night movie – The Surrogate, but I was just too tired, so tired that they are both in bed by 11.00pm.
