Alfresco Terrace Legacy Passholder ID Question (Minor)

On the off chance I can score a cancellation at Alfresco Terrace for our upcoming trip on 6/7-8, I have a question about the ID requirements.

Trip is DD 16 and myself. She is the Legacy Passholder. It says you need the physical pass, the pass showing up in the app and Photo ID. We have the first two but she doesn't have a government Photo ID since she's a minor and doesn't have her drivers license yet. Will this be OK? I know they don't/can't require ID for minors at the gate so I'm hoping it will be the same here.

I guess I have the same question for the LP discounts...will they allow it with no photo ID? I guess worst case we could bring her school ID.

To piggy-back off your question, is the physical pass actually needed? I have my Legacy Passholder details in my Disneyland app, but I'm pretty sure I trashed the physical card months ago.

I mean, you’re going to get there and show them your pass, pass in the app, and ID, and then show them her pass and say she’s your daughter but is a minor and doesn’t have ID (probably same last name?), and you’re envisioning a scenario where they’re going to turn her away?

I haven’t been, but I can’t imagine there’d be any issue with that whatsoever.

The discount is a little trickier and might vary by CM; it’s probably safest if you make purchases, but she can try and it might work. For a couple of years, my preschooler was the one with the best pass/discount, and I never had an issue with using her AP (they did usually check my ID for the last name), but other people reported different experiences.

To clarify- I am not a Legacy Passholder. My AP had already lapsed when they shut down last year. So since DD16 is the only LP-I would be her 'guest'. I'm worried they could turn both of us away as the only LP holder won't have official photo ID. Same for discounts. We do have the same last name. I guess we'll just give it a try for the discounts since it won't hurt. Does the discount apply automatically for mobile ordering like it used since I have her pass in my account?

I think chances are slim of snagging an Alfresco Terrace reservation anyway so I probably won't have to worry about that part anyway LOL

So, we went to the terrace last weekend. They DID want to see my old physical pass and ID upon check in, but didn't need to see the legacy barcode (although she said I'd need to show THAT to the server to get the discount). At the end of the meal, I showed the discount code to the server and got my discount applied. I also paid, though. They say that ONE person in your party has to be eligible to be seated and get the discount, but they don't say that same person has to pay.

Does she have a school ID with a picture on it? That should be good enough, but yes, they DID want to see my photo ID when I presented my AP card.

Terrace reservations are pretty plentiful, so it shouldn't be hard to get one.

For mobile ordering, the discounts apply automatically, but she has to order and pay through her own account on the app.

I've had CMs throw fits when I was a minor using my pass and didn't have ID, but only when trying to use the discount. One even asked if I could get my mom to prove it (she wasn't even with us!!!) so the discount will depend. But it sounds like you'll be ok with Tasting Terrace

Terrace reservations are pretty plentiful, so it shouldn't be hard to get one.

I don't know if it's Avengers Campus or what but there is almost no reservation availability at any in park dining on 6/7 or 6/8. I've been checking several times a day for the last week. RBT (which we are not fans of) showed up with lots of availability starting yesterday but prior to that there was NOTHING in DL or DCA- only stuff in DTD. Today I was able to grab Cafe Orleans and am seeing periodic availability for that on both days so I'm thinking maybe they have increased capacity for that location or something.

Hoping to get something somewhere at DCA on 6/7...

The terrace was taking walk ups when we were there, right when they opened at 11:30.

We are going 6/8 and it was one of the first days to sell out of reservations. Why a random Tuesday, I have no idea. I realize this is after Avengers Campus opens (which is why I chose it) but still, it’s so odd. I am holding two Lamplight reservations (for four people) for that day and I am going to be giving one up. If you PM me we can cooordiinate so you can try to grab it.
