Alfredo's Ristorante to close?

Just read the following in the wdwinfo rehab listing:

"Italy's Alfredo's Ristorante to close on August 31, 2007."

What is this all about? Is it permanent? Any information that anyone could provide would be helpful. Usually these listings have a timeframe for reopening but this one didn't.

Unfortunately, 'Fredo is leaving WDW permanently. Another Italian restaurant will occupy the space Alfredo's is in presently. There has been much speculation on what eatery it might be, but nothing confirmed yet.

Thanks for the information. I was unaware of this information. We will have to see what ends up occupying the space.
