Alfredo's or Crown & Rose

After booking this vacation in August, getting my ADR's at the 180 day mark we forgot until last night to call on the 90 day mark and book an IllumiNations Cruise - oh, well - I called this am - of course, it was booked. We had ADR's at 6 for Alfredo's, but the CM suggested we get ADR's at 7:20 for Rose & Crown and ask for outdoor seating. I just looked at the menu (after going ahead and securing the adr's) - not great, but we weren't overly excited about Alfredo's either after hearing recent reviews. With a 7 and 3 year old, which do you think would be better both as far as the food, and as far as IllumiNations - we're not planning on going to Epcot that day until around 4pm and just doing a few things including the show. Thanks!

Getting an outside table at R&C is hit or miss, but even if you're inside, you can go and watch. R&C is my favorite TS in Epcot. The Shepherd's Pie iis great, fish and chips are the best I've ever had, and, oh yeah, Guinness on tap. I've got ressies 9-14; don't think I can wait. Might grab a cs meal on our first day there.

Definitely Rose and Crown for Illuminations. My last trip I didn't go and I'm feeling withdrawal. This will be a must have for October trip.

My DD6 loves R&C we ate there for the first time in Dec and she is asking to go back in Oct. I can honestly say that is the only place that we have been to that she has eatin everything on her plate. We haven't been to Alfredos and since they will be closed by the time we go back we will not be eating there. You might want to consider if you want to try it or not since they are closing.

donnt waisr $$$$on the roase and crown..under cooked fish..10 fries with order..not worth it at all..itrs gone down hill over the years...wonnt go back to it at all.we go 3 times a year but wonnt go there for food anymore,,
