Alfredo's in Epcot

We were just there and loved it--all 10 of us. The fettucine alfredo was the best I ever had--I ordered it with the trio sampler--a whole plate would have been too rich! Service was excellent. I thought the prices were very good compared to other sit down dinner places. Dessert sampler was too die for.

I love their fettucine alfredo. My DH also had their calamari last time and said it was excellent. I wouldnt miss dinner at Aldredo's.

Keep yuor PS, try it and make up your own mind, Some People love it, other don't (we fall into to don't catagory) Everyone's taste is different. Be sure to come back and let us know what you thought of it.

We love Alfredo's but we never sit inside. We always have lunch there and sit outside. We enjoy sitting outside *much* more and it just adds to the experience. We used to watch Masquerade but that is now gone unfortunately. We have always found the service to be very friendly and I always end up over tipping (which I rarely do) because they are so great. I have had the server suggest the appetizer platter but if I didn't want it I just said that we didn't want that.

The last time we went, we tried it with the voucher and when it came time for our bill...our server said we didn't owe anything. We had kids meals and I had a wine that he didn't charge us. I even explained that these were not included and he just smiled and said "Yes, they are".

I find everyone to be very friendly, the food is great, and the atmosphere can't be beat (we do sit outside). I'm glad you are going to give it a shot! :)

Mosmom--Wow, maybe I should get the vouchers after all. I can't believe you didn't get charged for wine and a kid's meal. I loved the food at Alfredo's. Did you use one voucher or two? I thought if you had two people, you had to use two vouchers.

We used one voucher between the adults. We actually had 2 kid's meals too! Now, I'm not saying this is common practice there as this was the first time we used vouchers. I'm not sure if he knew it wasn't the norm and was just being nice or what. That is just what happened to us. So, don't go and buy one expecting to have kids meals and a wine included! ;)

We had lunch at Alfedo's last week, and I found the waiter to be very pushy also!! He tried to get the kids to order smoothies or virgin Pina Colada's. I said no, they will have soda please. Then he wanted us to order appetizers. We said no again, and he kept insisting we try something. He was pushing the Antipasta, and thinking it was like the one you get at the Pizza place up the road(lettuce, ham cheese, olives, ect) I finally said yes, thinking the kids would eat it!

Well, I didn't ask about the price and when I opened the menu to look, it was 23.99. I just about fell off my chair!!

When it came, it was a few slices of Italian Meats, and cheese slices(hard cheeses with strong flavor) and a few olives in the middle! Not something my kids would eat!

Well, you live and learn, but I did feel a little intimidated by our waiter, especially when 3 of us shared 1 entree. He insisted it wasn't enough, and it was fine .

But everyone said the food was good!!
:p

This is a restaurant that DH and I went to on our honeymoon in '88 and loved. Last year, we were back for our 15th anniversay and decided to try it again. Honestly, it was one of the worst dining experiences that we have EVER had at WDW. The food was horrible. My family jokes (now) that it was worse than Pasta-Roni. And very expensive too. Disney should be ashamed of itself. Lastly, our waiter was impolite and just plain rude. We will NOT be returning to Alfredo's.

Go to the Rose & Crown, if you have to eat inside the parks. Otherwise, try some of the awesome restaurants at the resorts. That is where the REAL GOOD food is! :-) We love Boma, Ohanas, the Luau, Olivia's, and Boatwrights too.

We were just there, again, in May. We go every time we visit WDW. Our family LOVES Alfredo's. We have never had pushy service and we didn't seem to be too crowded. Sometimes it is hard to undestand the waitstaff, but we generally get the idea. We love it and wouldn't change a thing!

Okay the wine was good, HOWEVER, I thought the food was just terrible and the service was worse. I did not get a "pushy" waiter, what I got was practically IGNORED! I had to ask for ground pepper on my ceasar salad (other tables were being asked) nearly died of thirst waiting to get another glass of water. Our waiter was just okay as far as the personality goes, the staff was nice, but they were not attentive enough when you're dropping that kind of dough (ahhh get it!) okay okay, anyway, the Fettuccini was just GOD AWFUL, it was the worst I have ever had in my life, it was just nasty, sticky and way too much cheese. Not creamy at all, it was hard on the top like it was sitting out for a while. The lasagna on the other hand, wasn't bad not great like I expected, but not as bad as the alfredo either. The potato gnochi (sp?) was just okay also. I didn't have a great dining experience here, however, if the food and service was better I would give it another chance, but definitely not for me/us. My husband and I still had a good time at dinner, we just didn't eat much which was okay, it left us room for desert in a glass from France, I think they call it CHAMPAGNE! tee hee...

Thanks for all the responses!
