I called last night to set up the ADR's and I got everything I wanted except Coral Reef on Good Friday. I asked her to recommend another resturant and she said "Let me see what is available for dinner that night" We went with Alfredo's but the reviews are so , so. I guess I will have to try for myself. Looking at the menus and reviews it seems I can not go wrong with a salad and alfredo fettaccni (sp?). Not too much of a selection on kids food either. Do you think they will give my kids plain noodles if we request? I mean PLAIN noodles, no parsley flakes or anything. They are so picky.

Would something like Cape May Seafood Buffet at the Beach Club be better for your family? It is only a short walk or boatride from the International Gateway at Epcot and you could easily return to the park after your dinner. We did this a few years ago on Good Friday and it was very nice with enough choices for everyone.
We have enjoyed Alfredos. The salads, pasta and desserts have always met with our approval and service always was beyond our expectations. I'm sure that your kids could order plain pasta if that is what they wanted.

After not eating there in 10 years (not that we didnt like it, just never made it back there), my mother and I ate there in December for the CP Package. We were very happy. Everything was very good, service was great (we were in a hurry and they took us early and moved us right along). I think I will do the CP Package there again this year with my family.

And most Disney restuarants will give you plain pasta...coming from the mother of the pickiest kid around. ;) I think as long as they have it there, which they do, they can accomodate you.

There may have been some changes in the kitchen. I've been reading some good reviews lately.

Thanks for the feed back. I will try it for myself and make my own opinion. I am not a picky eater and it must be really bad for me not to like something.

DH and I have been several times and have always enjoyed it. In fact, we have booked to go again in April. :goodvibes

I've been kind of up in the air about trying Alfredo's, i've never eaten there. I seem to get myself into a "rut" (I have certain places I ALWAYS eat at and I never try anything new). You've inspired me, I think i'm gonna take the plunge & try Alfredo's!!! Thanks. :worship:

We've eaten at Alfredos a few times and have enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere each time.

We ate at Alfredo's 2/26 and the service, food and atmosphere was outstanding. Our server and also bus boy were very friendly, made plenty attempts at talking to us, making sure we were pleased with our dinners, having a nice time. The quality of food was excellent--I had a salad w/the sampler (ziti, lasagna and the creme filled dumplings) and it was great! Portion sizes were large and quite filling with good tasted. DM had the fettucini alfredo and salad and loved it--thought it was the best she'd ever had as far as fettucini alfredo goes. Both of us had the chocolate mousse for dessert...AMAZING. I mean, best dessert of the whole trip. Wish I had some now...

Go to Alfredos...we'd been skeptical before but are totally happy with our decision to try it this time and will many times more in the future.

We had a good meal at Alfredos. I got the chicken parmesan and DH got the tri-pasta (gnocchi, fettucini alfredo and lasagna). My younger DD got the kids pasta. It was pasta with very plain sauce - just tomato sauce (reminded me like Hunts Classic) with meatballs (which she gave to her dad). My older DD ate the pizza appetizer. (I think this might be available only at lunch.)

We had the chocolate mousse dessert and a cheesecake mousse type dessert too. Yummy!

We really like Alfredio's. It's known for the best Fett Alfredo ever. I have to say, as an Italian, it's very good! My daughter ate every late bite of her meal including dessert.

I like Alfredo's. I lived in Italy for 2 years and this is pretty authentic Italian food imho. I also like to speak Italian with the waiters, and to listen to what they're talking about when they think none of the guests can understand! Have a great meal. :thumbsup2

I'm not surprised that Coral Reef is booked on Good Friday (fish place). It surprises me that Alfredos was available since it's a pasta place. I would think there would be more availability at someplace like the Biergarten or Le Celliers. I realize not everyone observes Good Friday, but even Christians who are lax during lent will try and be good on Good Friday ;)

We liked alfredo's in Feb.

Plain noodles. I second it...you can get them. We were able to get them at Hoop Dee Doo which I think would be one of the hardest and also 50's Primetime too. I would think noodles would be a snap at Alfredo's :)

They were noodles with no sauce. No butter.
ick, but DS loves it.

we made the adr the day before as an add on. I was a little leary about it after some bad reviews, but we loved it and will definately go back.

I had the caesar salad and the appetizer size fettucini alfredo. It was delicious and plenty enough. I had room for the desert sampler plate ...yummy! and a cappuchino

service was good, waiters sang, great fun place.

I was pleasantly surprised.
Hope you enjoy it!!

Best fetticine alfredo ever!
