Alferdos and Illuminations question

Hi all,

I have an ADR for Alfredos during the illuminations show. I requested a table where I can view the show and was told by the CM that it was no problem. My questions:

How is the view from Alfredos?
Should I worry about not getting a table with an Illuminations view?

There is no view of Illuminations from Alfredos. There MAY be a slight view if you have a patio table, but I'm not even sure they serve dinner out there, and I'd think the buildings would block any possible view. Alfredos is an interior restaurant tucked back inside the Italy pavillion. Illuminations happens over the lagoon.

We were in the part of the restaurant that is right next to the patio (but still inside), and we could see Illuminations. It's not the kind of place you watch Illuminations from though. It was kind of like "oh hey look - there's illuminations!" but the view was such that we didn't stop eating to watch it and we couldn't hear any of the music or anything.

I think Rose & Crown is the best place to go if you want to dine while watching illuminations.
