Hi. For all the Canadians that go and buy Aleve in the States. You can now buy in in Canada. We payed like $4.95 for 24. Walmart.

Cool - I'm going to have to look for it next time I go to Walmart - Although, I have a good stash :thumbsup2 Did they also have Aleve cold & sinus?

I didn't realize that Aleve is different from ibuprofren; looks like a must have for the medicine chest! Thanks! :)

Here's some good FAQ's about it. http://www.aleve.com/faqs.html#g11

Note: Do NOT take this med. when taking ibuprofren, UNLESS your Dr. requests that.

Don't take it if you have high blood pressure or take BP meds either. It can spike your blood pressure..friend of mine ended up in Emerg when it did this to them.
It's a great drug..potent though.

I love my Aleve! I was so happy when I heard this. Best part is, save.ca has coupons to save $5 off Aleve, so if you buy the 24 pack, its free!

They do have the coupon but it is for the 100 count not the 24, but $5 is a good savings on the 100 pack!

Well, isn't that something. I had 2 bottles coming back from Vegas a month ago and the border guard seized them after searching my luggage. He said it wasn't approved by the Canadian Drug Agency. Now I'm thinking he just wanted Aleve.

Nice to know that you can get it here. It is very pricey though.
I stock up at Costco in Florida and 400 tablets is $12.49!!!!!

I always thought Aleve was same as ibproferin too. Was this drug banned in Canada a few years ago? Naproxen?

Naproxen isn't banned, it's just available by Prescription as it is a pretty strong medication.

I'm surprised it's legal in Canada. As was stated, Naproxen is a prescription medication. Hmmmm, I deal with Pharmacists all day. Time for a new conversation.

That's what the lovely customs officer in Saskatoon told me -- that it was available only by prescription. I was going to ask my doctor for a prescription just to spite the customs man but now I'll go to Walmart.
