Alert on my SNA

There is an alert on my southwest flight into SNA. It’s due to the wildfires. Have people flown into SNA without problems this week? Everything shows on time and looks like they have had the alert since the 9th. Just checking.

Customers who purchased their itinerary via Southwest.com or our mobile app are eligible to reschedule their travel plans online or from their mobile device.

Customers who did not purchase a ticket via Southwest.com can call 1-800-435-9792 to speak with a Customer Representative.

Customers in the U.S. scheduled to travel internationally must call 1-800-435-9792 to speak with a Customer Representative for assistance with rebooking.

Well then I think since we are already scheduled to go into SNA then we should be fine.

I think it's less for airline safety (that is, something like difficulty with safe landing due to the smoke) and more a willingness to allow some flexible rescheduling options since some people may have health issues that will not allow them to deal with the smoke from the fires.

Our flight out of SNA on 11/15 originated at SFO which was delayed due to smoke. Smoke is not an issue but rain & winds were the last few days.
