Ale & Compass buffet

I was watching video from some bloggers reviewing the recently returned breakfast buffet at ale & compass. They seemed to enjoy it & had mostly positive things to say. However, at the end they mentioned that of the included drinks (coffee, tea, juice and soda), only the soda came with refills. I was surprised by this. I would expect the no-refills for OJ, but one cup of coffee?!? Don’t people generally have more than one cup of coffee with breakfast?!? I thought no refills on coffee was very odd. Has anyone experienced this? Can anyone confirm the drink situation within buffet?

Hi, I ate there in mid March 2022, and I got the buffet. (My entree was the crab cake Benedict; it was just OK.) I ordered coffee, and I had probably 3 cups, with no upcharge or discussion about it. I'm not sure if they were excluding coffee because the press pot is not included and is more expensive. I think you can count on refills of Joffrey's regular brew (I don't love the usual Joffrey's, but the 50th anniversary blend is great in my opinion... just richer than the usual without being bitter). I tried almost everything on the buffet and was happy with my choice though I didn't need to eat that much food. The absolute best thing on there was the croissants, which were pure butter.
