How is their breakfast? I'm assuming they don't have the breakfast buffet anymore. I'll be staying at the BC, but the other TS breakfasts in the area are character meals, which I don't object to, but they're more pricey-I'm just interested in the food! So how is it?

No buffet but I thought breakfast was really good. I just had an omelet but it was delicious. Came with potato hash and really good, thick-cut toast. I just looked but don't have a picture unfortunately. FYI in case the menu appeals to you more, across the lake at Trattoria al Forno (Boardwalk) they do have a separate room they use for walk-ups and serve the breakfast menu a la carte with no characters. Personally of the two, I preferred Ale & Compass.

That's good to know - is the character-free meal at a lower price? I have thought this would be a nice option at other places for those who like the restaurant but don't really need the character experience.

Yes- everything is priced individually. I don't recall the prices but someone on this thread thought the entrees were in the $13-15 range.

Anyone who has eaten here, can they recommend a good item from the menu
