Ale and Compass or Trattoria?

Family is looking at both for our first night meal. I like the menus for both. Which one and why did you like or not like?

We really liked the food at Tratorria. It is a lot more cheerful than the Ale and Compass to us.

The food was good at both. Ale & Compass is quieter. At Trattoria, ask for a table by the window and you can look out on the Boardwalk.

Trattoria! Ale and compass took forever when we were there. Trattoria makes their own pasta!

Ale & Compass. We loved our dinner there. Service was wonderful. It was the surprise hit of our week.
