Hi
I've read how much alcohol costs at the hotels and restaurants but is there anywhere where a uk visitor wouldn't feel too ripped off!
With there with young kids so not a huge issue but wouldn't mind a pint after a hard days walking!!
Do any of the bars or restaurants have a happy hour or discounts? Not sure a pint would taste as nice if I'd paid £8 for it!!
Thanks
Ben

The train station shop does sell reasonably prices cans of beer.

I totally have to recommend the wheat beer at King Ludwig's in Disney Village (it's a restaurant but there's a sep bar that also does non-alcoholic cocktails for kids).

I don't remember it being that expensive......but may be there's a reason for not remembering much!

Anyhow, as far as the beer goes, it was utterly delicious!
Ok..just found the prices, aint cheap but it is GOOD and......

.....King Ludwig's has a happy hour each day where beer is buy one get one free (this excludes Saturdays and bank holidays).
The happy hour runs from 17:30 - 17:00 short but sweet!

Are you staying on site? When we stayed the first time (HNY) we had some very small kids, and we found the shop had some beers in the fridge for a reasonable price, so we could put the kids in bed and relax in the rooms with nice chilled beer;);)

Yes we're staying on site.
We're driving so will have a few beers chilling in the boot for when the kids are in bed.
Its just nice to have a couple of pints with your meal but looks like all the restaurants are so so expensive for alcohol.

The Sports Bar is "reasonable" by DLP standards.
paid 8 euros in there for a Mojito compared with 12 at the Steakhouse and 15 at the HNY bar.

Remember that hotel bar prices rise with the hotel rating, so head to the Santa Fe or Cheyenne (Cheyenne has a very good resident band BTW) :)

Ohhh i better budget a bit more for booze then as i can never drink anywhere except a bar...!!!:goodvibes
