I was looking at the menu on Allears and it says that beverages are included, does this include alcohol? We'll be there for dinner and I'm sure my husband will want to try some kind of German drink.

No, alcohol is not included in the price. German beer and wine are available for an extra cost.

I believe your only choices for beer sizes are liter and half-liter. :) We never miss this restaurant on our trips.

If it did I would be getting carried out of there every day I was in Epcot.

At the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue dinner, Draft Bud Light, Chardonnay, Rose, Sangria, and Merlot, are included in the cost of dinner and I don't know of another place at WDW that does include booze in the cost of the meal.

The Aloha Dinner use to include the alcoholic drinks, I got pretty sloshed on

Mai Tai's one time a few years back, not sure if it still does or not

There is also a "beer flight" available that my husband likes. Four small glasses (5 oz?) of different German beers.

I think I read in a recent newsletter that guests now get one alcoholic beverage as part of the meal but must go next door to buy additional alcoholic drinks and bring them back to their table. Anybody else hear this?

I'll be sure to tell my husband about the beer flight, I'm sure he'd enjoy that. Do you remember how much it cost?

Interesting when we were there March '09 I would have ordered that had I known of it , I had something similar at Rose & Crown once but I think it was 4 samples

March '09 the beer and sangria were refilled at the table

Some one posted that if you wanted a beer besides Bud Light you had to go next store to purchase it.
The Backyard Barbecue has unlimited beer and wine too. Notice it's supplied at 2 credit shows that also include the tip.

Beer, wine and sometimes sangria is covered by the price at the three dinner shows (Spirit of Aloha, Hoop de Doo and Mickey's Backyard Barbecue). It's been all you could drink, but if you wanted beer covered the only available beer is Bud Light. Other beers, and cocktails, are available for an extra charge and are not refillable.

Never heard that they've moved to one serving only. It's nothing to do with the amount of dining credits it costs...although a dinner show is the only way to get alcoholic beverages covered by the dining plan.
