Has anyone eaten here and have any reviews? What is the ambience like? Worth the money or should we go else where for dinner? TIA

I love eating at Albert's and so does my DM. She always insists on eating there for lunch, probably bc it's the only sit-down restaurant at the zoo. The ambiance is nice, nothing elegant, I believe there were pics of birds on the walls. The setting is kinda earthy. There's also a small patio so ppl can eat outside and there's also a small waterfall.
My favorite dish is a ravioli that's stuffed w/ something, I forget, was it shrimp? Anyways, I always get it, it's a nice sized portion so I can eat it all and not have leftovers, and I'm full at the end too. I forgot what my DM would get, but my DDad would get the salmon salad. I would say to at least try it once and if you don't care for it, then you'll know for next time.

We LOVE Alberts. After a long, hot day at the Zoo we eat there for dinner. We sit on the patio b/c the waterfall is out there and it's so nice. We ate around 4:30PM with no reservation on a day in July, and the hostess said after 5PM it gets pretty packed.

I had pizza that was delish, my dad had fish, my husband had pasta and my mom had a salad. All were good and you get really yummy sourdough rolls beforehand.

It's very worth it to me.
