You have to go through the ding to get these. These are ding rates. I just went and looked for Dec 12, and it is wide open. Then I looked at Jan 4..and again, wide open.

Oh, OK. I thought the Ding was just an alert, I didn't realize it passed on exclusive fares.

Someone had told me about a "ding" rate they got before, and it was on the site when I looked in the normal reservations page, so I thought these were generally available. Thanks for the info. I haven't downloaded ding on my home PC because it is so slow (my pc that is).

You have to have downloaded Ding to get the fares, I think. I haven't found a way to access them except through Ding. HOwever, most of the time, if the $49 (or lowest fare) isn't available through the regular website, chances are the DING is not available for that date and time. A quick check revealed no DING fares available for 12/20-12/25. What are your dates?

Dec 19 - 25 shows lots of openings for ding fares from Albany to Tampa. Dec 20th is filled.

Thank-you, thank-you. This is the Ding fare I was waiting for. I took 2 hours paid personal and left work, raced home and we now have our December fares. Came to $208 total, applied credit I had and we only ended up paying $128 total for our 2 tickets. If I would have waited until I got home it would have been gone. Thanks for the heads up, these boards are great! We now have a 7 days cruise @$499 and our cheap airline tickets, who says you can't have fun on a budget!

The reason I'm asking, I missed the BUF-MCO the other day and wondering if in fact ALB-TPA was offered a few days ago, perhaps BUF-MCO will be offered again in the next day or two also (since I have the feeling it was offered a day or two after the last ALB-TPA DING)?

Any info. would be greatly appreciated.
