The last time I went on an Alaska cruise, a Glacier expert came into the vibe and taught some of us about Glaciers. I am a huge Marine biology nerd and I was wondering if they have any other presentations that a teen (I’ll be 17) could go to. I don’t know if it’s just for adults or something. Thank you in advance! :)

They have presentations in the Walt Disney Theater for all ages on a variety of Alaska topics--ones about glaciers, marine animals, bears, etc. (The personal navigator will list the topic for each session.) They're held on the sea days. They also have the naturalist talking on the loudspeaker on 'Tracy Arm' day. On our 8/16 Alaskan cruise, DD16 learned about auroras in Vibe and did a craft about it.

We did the Alaska cruise in June of this year and, as Geomom said above, we went to all the presentations in the WD Theater. They were great, open to all ages, and made our trip and verandah viewing just that much better. The talks are also repeated on your TV each night, in case you miss the live event. He had lots of visuals and personal experiences. You can talk to him after the show if you have questions. This is one cruise I would recommend a verandah stateroom, your best camera and warm clothes. Weather is iffy but often swimmable on the top deck.
