Our twins are going out to Los Angeles for a school band trip. They're going to tour the Academy awards venue, see Sony Studios & perform @ Disneyland plus much more. Oh I so wish I could be there.

Barrett DBFF, f, 44, Ken DH, m, 43, celebrating their wedding (17th or 18th I have lost count anniversary a tad early, Serena DD, Sweet 16, Chad DS, 13 they will have two cabins and I will get you the cabin numbersas soon as I can

Hi All!

PAID IN FULL!!!!!

And boy was this waaaay too close for comfort. I am a Realtor and i have been waiting for a deal to close to be able to pay this sucker off. We were supposed to be all closed and done by March 1st but just closed today and it was a squeeker. My pay by date was 3/19, Sunday and they were threatening to hold the closing over to Monday eeek!

Oh and did I mention that our oldest son is getting married a week from this Saturday in our backyard and in addition to handling all of the arrangements for the couple (they live in Washington state but will be getting married here in Sunny (I hope, I hope, I hope) Southern California, I will also be making their wedding favors (boxed handmade chocolate truffles as I am quite the Chocolatier); baking and decorating the wedding cake (from scratch); doing balloon decor on the wedding day (I have had a kids party company and balloon twisting and decor business for going on 18 years) and partly catering the event so I am a littlestressedrightnow to say the least and facing possibly losing not only my entire deposit but also our reservation over one day was TOTALLY not something I needed.

Thankfully the fates smiled on me and moved things through the channels faster than the worstcase estimates and all is now well. But, geesh, I really could have done without the stressful scary bits

Now I can relax a bit about the cruise itself and can start planning our excursions in earnest. And, since we are booked guarantee I am hoping the fates will smile upon me with a healthy dose of Pixie Dust when it comes time to assign our cabin.

I hope things have been going well for everyone else.

Well that relaxing was fun but now back to the grind... Let's see... I need to make a reservation for parking... Make a reservation for the train in Skagway... Get appointments for the DH and myself for our passports...

After they perform they have free time to enjoy the Parks - lucky them. The last time they were @ the Disneyland resort was Spring Break 2004 when they were only 11.

The twins & their school band were @ Sony Studios today to perform. While there they met Tobey Maguire (spiderman) & Adam Sandler. My boys were thrilled as were most of the band I'm sure. Adam Sandler even stayed to listen to them perform. Awesome for the teenagers & very nice of him to do that.
