Alaska Cruise with a 3 year old

Hi,
I'm wondering what there is for a 3 year old to do on an Alaska cruise. I assume it is too cold for swimming. We are going in June. I know she will be old enough for the oceaner club but we don't want to drop her off and leave her and it appears that adults are not allowed in the club. I'm just wondering what activities there are that she could enjoy and we could do as a family. We just don't want too much down time. Thanks!

I have not yet cruised but I am traveling with a 3 year old to Alaska this summer. I plan on having him meet characters, go on excursions, go to the club, watch movies, swim when weather allows since pool is heated, play mini golf, go to the shows and parties.

For an Alaskan cruise, with a 3 year old, I'd say a Disney cruise is the way to go. Most other cruise lines are more focused on the Alaska experience, while Disney will still have their Disney experiences onboard.

Yes, adults are not allowed in the kid's clubs, except during Open House times. That's why it's call "secured programming".

I second the suggestion that you check out the Navigators for previous Alaska cruises to see what sorts of activities have been available on past cruises.

We took DD over her 3rd birthday. She loved it. Shore excursion-wise, we visited the sled dogs, did the Skagway Train and panning for gold, went to Mendenhall glacier (although that was more for us), and a private tour and Lumber Jack show in Ketchikan.

I agree with comments from previous posters, and would add that kids WERE swimming in the pools when we cruised to Alaska in June,2015. I think they super-heat the pools.
