Alaska Airlines Cancellation ?

Booked a trip/stay via Alaska Airlines, bought the insurance that says I can cancel up to 4 days before the trip (with some fees...)

Has anyone ever done this? Is it fairly easy?

i have but not with alaska.

no problem at all just had to use it with in a year.

I did and had no problem.

I need to get trip insurance, how do you go about this? I booked airfare through Alaska but didn't see any obvious offers. I was hoping to get the whole thing insured, park hoppers, hotel, shuttle and air... I guess I'm kind of clueless about it...

The only experience I have had with cancelling through AA is two years ago we had a package and we had the travel insurance. At that time we could cancel up to four hours before the flight. Well the night before we left, DS got the super high fever, vomiting, etc. and taking one look at him...I don't think they would have let him on the plane. We had to cancel and all we were out was the amount it cost us for the insurance.
