As above really.

There is no meet thread started, but wondered

is anyone else cruising on the Wonder for this date ?.

I just moved this thread to the meets section of the boards. Consider this the meets thread for your sailing.

Hi fellow cruiser!!! My grandson and I will be sailing with you on the Wonder, June 11, 2012 to ALASKA. This is our first cruise and we are so excited. My name is Pat, from Westfield, Indiana, USA. My grandson is Brock, age 11 from Lakeland, Florida, U
SA. Glad to meet you!!

Hi
Nice to meet you as well. :)
I am Jan and am sailing with my Husband Carl.
We live in Oxford in the UK.
This will be our 7th cruise, but 6th cruise on Disney.
Look forward to chatting with you.

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :thumbsup2

Have a great cruise!

Hi everyone!

We are so excited to be sailing to Alaska with you! :cool1:

Our family consist of me DW and my DH and DS18 and DS13.

This will be our 3rd DCL cruise but our first time to Alaska. We live in Florida so this will be a new experience for us. My boys have never even seen snow before. :scared1:

Looking forward to passing the time talking with all of you!

Hi Everyone! I think we are finally locked into this date-provided DH's is correct about next year's work schedule! We will be two adults and our 13 yr. old DD and 15 year old DS. We're hoping to bring along some friends as well...

I don't know if anyone else is as crazy as I am and already shopping, but.....:lmao:
Cabela's is having a big anniversary sale. I just bought 4 fleece jackets and 2 pairs of rain pants. With 50cent shipping my total was only $101.00!!

Just thought I'd let you know:lovestruc

You're not the only crazy one...Just ordered rain jackets this week from LL Bean and got binoculars a few weeks ago on sale at Cabela's :)

Well that makes me feel better! I swear all I can think about is rain gear, flights, hotels, and transportation. It's going to be a long winter! LOL

Just made the final payment on our cruise today!!! That's a huge load off my mind. According to DCL website, I can't make excursion res. till March 28th. All this planning is so much fun.

Hi/Welcome to everyone.

Sorry I havent posted but have just come back, from the 2 week Westbound Transatlantic, Disney Magic Cruise, followed by 2 weeks on site at WDW. :cool1:

Anyway now looking forward to Our Alaskan Cruise :cool1:

I too have bought things for this cruise, 2 Rain/Storm Jackets with Interactive Fleeces for us both, as Ive been told we need to wear clothes in Layers. Ive no doubt though, that I will find plenty of things that I will need to buy in the next few months ;) :thumbsup2

Look forward to talking to you all in the next few months.

I am glad someone started a thread for June 11th! My family will be traveling as well on our FIRST cruise ever! We are very excited to be celebrating my stepdad's retirement. DH, me, DD7, and my mom and stepdad. We are thrilled to be making DCL our first cruising experience - we hope it will be the start of more cruises. I am a little overwhelmed by all the planning, but I planned a 3 family WDW vacation with dining reservations two years ago, so I think I can handle this. See you all onboard! :yay:

Welcome rogattdm! :welcome:

Glad you and your family are joining us!! Trust me - you will love cruising with Disney.:cloud9:

I know the planning can be overwhelming, but try to sit back and enjoy it. I know I find myself at the computer searching for airfares at 1 o'clock in the morning. But of all the things that have kept me up at night...planning vacations is by far the best. :rotfl:

Hope to talk to you more over the coming months. Feel free to post any questions you have and maybe one of us can help.

Janine

Welcome!!! This will be my first cruise ever, too!! All the planning is part of the fun!!! Looking forward to chatting with you over the next few months.

I'm so excited I just had to post.....LOL.

I just booked our flights to Seattle. I know it's really early but I got a fantastic deal and I don't think it could get much lower. Maybe a little, but I've been watching flights for a while and think I did great. Tell me what you all think.

Orlando to Seattle - Roundtrip with 1 stop - $265 total per person.
So for my family of 4 the total came to $1062.00!

We will be flying in the day before the cruise and staying 2 days after. :goodvibes

What's everyone else planning?

Janine
