Alarm clocks and hygiene items

We still prefer an "Old-fashioned" wake-up call! Seems to get us all up and moving better than an alarm clock in the morning.

Not always. My family doesn't carry devices on vacation; we bring one for travel emergencies and information, and that one goes in the safe whenever we get where we're going. We spend enough screen time every day for work that we unplug as much as possible when we're off.

That must not work at all at WDW, where everything is centered on MDE. On the cruise, the app is very useful..too bad you're missing out on that.

Nice way to respond to the OP's question. :sad2: He/she was asking for basic information, not a value judgment.

Just because you no longer use a device, doesn't mean that others don't. Alarm clocks are still being produced and sold and are used by many people, including those who don't want to have to feel "connected" to their own electronic devices 24/7 while on a cruise vacation.

Uh...the OP asked "Do we need to bring alarm clocks?" -- My response was an answer to that question. In fact, you do not need to.

We are just off the WBTA, and when there was a time change, there was a note by the alarm clock saying that your host or hostess would be changing the time when preparing the room for sleep.
Just off the WBTA also and I’ll add to the bath amenities. The H2O products in the large containers seem to be the norm now on all the ships.

We didn’t need any this trip but if you request from housekeeping for aftersun lotion they will provide that too. Very soothing on sunburns. Not sure if that has changed but it was still available in January.

The fitness center and spa showers have shampoo, conditioner and shower gel plus lotions. On the Magic it was the good Revitalize Me Elemis products. In the men’s locker they also had shave cream, deodorant, hair spray and hair gel (sorry didn’t check the brands).

If you have a concierge room the bath products are Elemis. They had been the Revitalize Me in the past but recently have been the White Lotus & Lime.
