I just rented a minivan with Alamo for Feb. 8-16. Total for 8 days $185.42. This will be my first time with them I usually use Nationals Emerald Isle. Chevrolet Uplander, ID 430710, Rate code BY, Coupon AD14, which I printed off their web site. Hope this helps someone.

I too rented the same thing, but my total is $167 for 1 week and 1 day. My base rate for the uplander was $124, plus used all of the same things as you, walmart code and $20. Maybe because our dates are different from yours. Going Feb. 2-10. I couldn't wait to cancel my National reservation in light of all of their changes and high prices.

Thanks, Bunny/2! Our dates are April 3 - 10 (8 days). Uplander was coming up significantly higher (spring break??) but got the midsize SUV for $168.66 inc. all fees. Last 2 times I got a midsize SUV from Alamo, I got a Saturn Vue, which was plenty large for 4 adults and luggage. Hope it works out that way again. The site says Chevy Equinox and I don't know how the luggage capacity is for that model.
